  1. huge flakes dumping. not sure what I have, but def. 15+
  2. Pivoting and joining with the band to the west. 18+ you and me and 2' for mama. This stuff has to be 2-3/hour. More yellow please.
  3. The pivot is starting in that band that goes from Dover, ME down into SNE. I think whoever is in it now is going to be in it as it pivots, and then those to the east get some love.
  4. Jeebus this band is really intensifying. Is that subsidence right to the east? I hope we keep the band! How much do you have so far?
  5. Nice band from downeast right through and past Concord. Just getting into that dumpage.
  6. I have no spot that I can measure undisturbed. This morning I had a good untouched measurement of 7.5 but then the shoveling and the tractor, snowblower etc. and from that point I measured when I shoveled. So I'm defintitely confident of having had 11+ just given rates since the 7.5, but I know it isn't proper.
  7. I clear whenever I get my ass up and outside lol. Not an official measurer. Sometimes every 2 hours, sometimes every 4. My best guess is 11.5. Did you see my earlier post to Chris about the huge local differences just in Boscawen? Hoping we can stay in some good banding and break 15.
  8. pics from earlier. just started dumping again.
  9. Based on measuring every 2-3 hours where I've cleared, 11.5" with mod-heavy snow 1/4 viz. 16-22 pack in the fields and 24-27 in the woods (highest of the season)
  10. we've transitioned to that fun kinda snow, with small flakes, blowing almost vertically....I guess 1-2/hour? It is drier and this has helped some of the hardwoods shed snow but the pines are still somewhat loaded. If we get much windier and if the intensity continues, we could get near blizzard conditions.
  11. Chris the comment in the GYX discussion about 600' being the key elevation was right on target. My house is at 625. We had 8" about an hour ago. We have a 1500' driveway and it is about 525 at the bottom. There was an inch less at the bottom. Drove down our road towards the main road (King St.) in Boscawen and as I descended through 400' it was mostly wet slush and maybe 3". Friends in Canterbury were at 3" and were shocked to hear we had 8. Our trees are caked dangerously and they had no issue in their woods. Remarkable local differences.
  12. pics rarely do it justice, but we are near 1/8 or maybe under and the wind is starting to crank.
  13. Viz is below 1/8 now. REally rocking. Huge differences between 625' and 450'
  14. heavy snow and blowing here. temperature falling to 30. Real nice scene, but slushy and wet literally 200 feet below.
  15. 7.5” at noon so 2.5 in 3.5 hrs. interesting very localized effects with friends only a few miles away and not at a much lower elevation only having received about 3 inches with no problems with snow on trees or anything. They were shocked to hear how much we had. And 7 1/2 is a fairly conservative estimate.
  16. Quite a strong finish this year, and good to get more peeps involved in the fun. Not really looking forward to this pack staying around for too much longer.
  17. it isn't light snow here. definitely moderate and stacking up. by not quite fully heavy. viz is low due to small flakes.
  18. back to pretty heavy snow but flakes still small. viz <1/4. Probably 6" or so.
  19. 5” at 8:30. Moderate snow but can’t quite break into the heavies. I’ll post pictures later because even after just 5 inches of snow I’ve never seen quite a scene like today in the woods. Even with prior ice storms. Every birches burnt to the ground and I imagine we’re gonna have a lot of lemons and even some trees down by tonight. maybe as the system, develops or shifts we will get into some of that more intense banding, or maybe not, the models were definitely giving us less snow, in this part of Merrimack County
  20. Intensifying here with mid-heavy snow viz below 1/4 and some good gusts. Cement though.
  21. Even though it’s been snowing the whole time I think, haven’t added much from what looked like 3 or more at 3am. Heaviest stuff still south but even so what a scene outside with thick snow sticking to everything
  22. I guess the best forcing will stay south when the coastal cranks but we are off to a decent start and several hours ahead of all snow and accumulating than the zone has. We are already a half inch with solidly moderate snow.
  23. seems this is coming together a bit earlier than expected. Don't know what the projected timing was in SNE but we weren't supposed to change over for a few more hours. Lots of mystery still but damn what a great radar sig.
  24. light snow becoming moderate. small flakes 32.
