  1. sweet realtionship you two have. does he tuck you in before the quarts of ice cream begin?
  2. My favorite sugar maple went from green to a sort of dull and ugly droopy light brown, in a period of about 48 hours. Gave it about 40 gallons of water and in anothe 48 hours spectacular orange. It is peaking now, 1-2 weeks early. I think the drought isn't hurting the color, but everything is coming fast and I suspect it will drop early.
  3. She's a doll - 9 weeks. We lost our 9 year old in June. Didn't think our hearts would be ready to open up again this soon, but lo and behold....
  4. Just starting here. Here is me with the new pup and you can see the color is starting. It should be great in 2 weeks. We are probably 20-30 miles sw of the lakes.
  5. I like it. It does have some charm and a lot going for it. Like many places it does have some challenges.
  6. always in awe of what you produce and grateful to have a chance to see it.
  7. She's got a certain spirit to her, and she dive bombs me with those sharp little puppy teeth. I want to yell at her but all I can do is laugh.
  8. That Balmer or Baldimo if you prefer - Charm City.
  9. Oh that is hard...I learned a lot from my dogs about the process of grief. We lost one in June at too young of an age. Saturday we got a pup and I'm over the moon. Good luck, it will get easier, but you know that already.
  10. nice cold nights for this early. enjoying it, actually need gloves in the morning. dry as a bone though and that is becoming disconcerting.
  11. the only important thing is what does this whole season long dynamic imply for winter?
  12. very thankful for the lovely and needed rain we are getting up here.
  13. Low expectations from early looks at winter seasonal outlooks means we don't have high expectations. I like it better this way, than the drama of disappointment due to those high expectations. It can only get bette!
  14. Quite the run you've had over the last few years, while cheering everyone else on.
  15. Yes picking up here. The yellows are stuck at 93 lol
  16. I think we get into it for a bit, enough to get us to a foot for the storm. It is like the paint drying but it is still edging west. If we're lucky it gets to us and then starts the pivot. I feel bad for many on here....huge differences in what people are getting. Been there a few times. Even though we aren't under the best band it is still a good storm
  17. it's edging closer Brian. I bet Loudon and Concord Heights are starting to feel it given the radar presentation and the ne wind. Has stayed at least moderate here but as you said with the vis below 1/4 mile.
  18. well modeled though with the consistent western qpf symbol despite the various tracks modelled. Getting heavy here now.
