  1. Picked a nymph tick off of me about a month ago ... three weeks later had an expanding rash. Doc took one look and said, "yep, that's Lyme!" Early detection, though, so no long-term issues expected
  2. Starting as a rain and snow mix in N Waterboro, ME. No wind
  3. Felt like a summah's day yesterday at 84/67, but a/c not needed. Was never installed this year anyway.
  4. A few images I took over the past few days
  5. I've been trying to figure out that acronym myself ... lol!
  6. No, he's still installed. Pretty cold in that home of his.
  7. It's an acclimation thing (and a cheap bastid thing, too, in my case) - dews under 70 are NBD now. Fan in the window is all I need.
  8. It'll feel amazing to have the windows open again
  9. +1 Heading to Acadia next weekend ... sun and 70s would be a good gig.
  10. I don't even bother hitting the brakes or try to dodge them any longer. Straight line and constant speed ... let their maker sort them out.
  11. I lived in Kansas for 13 years and never saw a tornado, nor did any touch down near where I lived. Have had three pretty close to me since I moved to Maine. Plains storms are pretty magnificent to watch roll in though
  12. Nothing firsthand. One of the local stations said several had overturned on the East End, and there were some photos on various social media
  13. Yeah, an IG person I follow said they were out on their sailboat in Casco Bay during it. They took down the sails but still almost flipped over.
  14. Surprised at no mention of what happened in Portland yesterday. Trees uprooted, boats capsized. Unfortunately I was not in town to witness the carnage firsthand
  15. That's not taint - it's a feature 81F in North Windham when I left work, but you could feel the coolness of the breeze. 65.8F refreshing degrees on Munjoy Hill. Tonight will be a beach dinner night
  16. 68/61 at home on Munjoy Hill, Portland 83/71 at home 25 miles away in North Waterboro
