That's a pretty cool storm going on in WNY and points west and north. Absolutely beautiful here now, ~75° with a light breeze and 50% humidity with deep blue skies.

I got nuthin (yesterday) Looks like I'm about to get some rain this morning though.

It's black and grey with big cloud tops just to my N and W, overhead is the mixing zone and to my E it's clear and blue skies. It's been like this for about a half hour now.

Soggy and cool, hitting 1" now with a little more just west and north. You could definitely see some plants starting to change yesterday.

I ended up with .8 total. It rained hard but nothing like a few minutes north of here. Brewster is at least a half inch higher and as Julian said it keeps going up as you go further north. My daughter said the ride home from work in Danbury was scary with trees and branches down and inches of water on the road.

76>65 spread today, 71 now. I'm not appreciating the smoke. It's dry, I could use some rain.

Some of the deep summer green is fading especially in the lower levels of the the ground growth, there's also a lot more lower pine tree die-off than before. I'll be up in the Daks next week so I'm betting I'll see a bit up there.

I did a day at Montauk last week, ended up at Robert Moses today. Looking at Smith Point next week. Boy, you couldn't have ordered a nicer week to be out there.
