Something is off with the Pivotal algorithm re the 0z Ukie. It shows 2.23" qpf in my hood, yet the snowfall is 15", a 7-1 ratio. Same problem throughout all of NE. The question is which one is off?
That should be 25+ with the cold air draining in..

I haven't been paying attention to the temps, but just realized that this could be heavy snow at zero or below here? That's nuts. Never experienced that in my life.
We've had decent snow down here with temps in the single digits, lowest I remember is 4 degrees.

Yeah, he got a lot of buns thrown at him but a great kid, too bad he's not here for this one, he'd be so excited right now.

I have been snowplowing for 30 years or so, this should be a great one !, and I'm glad its a weekend for traffic reasons, I wonder if the big box stores and others sold every shovel and snowblower!

Blue Hill actually has the highest for a first order station in SNE with 38.7 in the Feb 1969 storm.
34.5” at ORH in Jan 2015 is the 2nd highest for a first order station. I think their 33.0” in Apr 1997 is 3rd.What was 92 Will, I thought that set the record at that time?

Harvey going 24+ inside 495.
Bouchard's still on the conservative side with his totals but said he may have to slide the higher totals west, looked like he combined the GFS with the other models and split the difference.

Wow, just catching up, is Cantore going to report live in Scooters front yard?

I still remember a blizzard warning back in the 80's where Dick Albert said it couldn't miss the night before and it missed, grazed the Cape, that one's always in the back of my mind.
