Euro is like 1-2 maybe.
I'll take 1-2 and like it, gotta take what we can get this year while we hope and pray for a bomb. CMC doesn't look too bad for the next 10 days.

I have about 2 inches of crusty snow but the towns north me with higher elevation have decent snow covering and the snow was blowing around yesterday. I love those days when snow blows and drifts and its cold, that's winter.

I've only have run all season tires on any vehicle i've owned.
One year I bought Blizzak snow tires for my Toyota Tacoma, I could go through two feet of snow with those tires with no problem but it costs $500 for 4 so I stick with all season now.

72 Ford Torino here. Put that thing in reverse going 40 and it shifted better than ever after that lol. #cantkillit. My dad had an alligator clip lead to ground the am radio and it gave me a little shock when I tried to put it back on after it fell off while driving. Knocked my hand into the shifter thingamajig. Put 9 people in once in college and fried the wheel bearings. Loved that car. Drove another the faster you went.
.My first car was a 72 Torino, red with a black Landau top, loved that car.

There are tour companies but they can be pricey. The one in Stowe is like $199 for a 2 hour tour. That includes everything, equipment, some safety training and a guided tour. I’ve done it in Quebec and it was similar.
Place we went last year in Vermont was $140 for 2 hours, I'd like to buy one but not sure I would use it enough to justify the cost.

I tried to scrape my driveway the best I could but still ended up with a coating of ice and last night a half inch fell on top. I think it melts tomorrow but slippery out there today.

Yea, that is why I was so vague in my blog update yesterday. I feel like that event will come to fruition, and normally I would be more aggressive, but being spurned so much this season has me guarded. 00z Euro looked good for banding up this way, though.
Harvey played it the same way...outlined general potential over the weekend, but nothing specific.
The met on Spectrum this morning did the same thing about this weekend. Didn't even mention the Thursday possibility.

I think it was mentioned somewhere else, but this “event” could have a negative impact on the bigger ticket Saturday event.
I think Will mentioned that yesterday.

I'd like to have an inch or two before the cold blast gets here.

Looks pretty meh the next 7 days or so, Cold though.
You should be below zero a couple nights, I may even go below here.

The half inch I got tonight is going to do a good job of covering up black ice.

All iced up and it's snowing lightly, looks to be expanding on radar, maybe pick up a half inch if I'm lucky.

Even I still have a pack, except for all my kid's footprints. I'm sure he still has a thin glacier.
I have a bout the same size pack before this storm, only now its waterlogged and going to turn to ice.

We don't want a direct hit right now, it's got time to make it's moves.

I shoveled this morning . Slush and massive slugs of water and puddles. Driveway is all iced over . Radar looks decent for a couple hours of light snow this evening / early tonight. Models showed this little band for like 3 days . I kept wondering if they’d lose it.
I'm going to have ice too but at least it won't be an inch thick.

Back down to 32 and it’s a rink with light snow moving in from the SW. Survived with 4” of glacier after hitting 40 for like 20 minutes before slow drop all day
I've been dropping about a degree every 45 minutes but haven't hit 32 yet, now at 34.

I gained about an inch of slush, cleaned up before it freezes tonight and my yard turns into a skating rink.

Prospects look good for snow events into early Feb
At least one of these chances should break our way.

Sometimes you get good news, you wouldn't believe the amount I spent at Tufts last year for our pets and none turned out well.
