I hope nobody is misconstruing what I’m saying. Nah, that never happens.
No, bare ground at your place near the coast 2-3 feet inland, we get it.

The GTG should be interesting if nothing is on models Looking 5 days out by the 12’th . I’m looking forward to this GTG anyway .
Didn't it snow on the day of one of the GTG's?

I think I Speak for at least the majority here. We are expecting multiple snow events in December, with a slightly below normal pattern. Two white holidays and probably 1-3 feet in sum from interior SNE on north increasing as you go north. Coastal areas 6-12”
I just want a good solid cover for the Holidays, 6-12 would be good, more is better, I like bone chilling cold, I know a lot of you guys don't but single digits at night with snow cover is great. Of course, I'd like 2015 to happen in December and last til March but that's not gonna happen.

December 2010 was uber painful here with a big snowstorm in Boston on the 18th IIRC and a Mt Rushmore bust locally on Boxing Day. But the same patience grasshopper advice would have applied because Jan and Feb were wonderful.
Edit- seemed like the big snow was the 20th in SEMA not Bos
I was just in an unlucky spot for the Boxing day storm, overall it wasn't a bad storm. I'd take my chances with another one like it.

I’ll rip a boob back occasionally too. But man .. take a risk.. try a few IPA’s. I promise you .. you’ll thank me
Super windy out right now.
I've been trying some IPA's and to my surprise there's quite a few I like. Almost all bars and restaurants have a good selection now.

No, have not gotten into the permethryn routine - yet.
Can't buy it in Mass so I bought some when I was in Maine. Problem is its poison for cats so if you have cats you have to be real careful.

Thanks. The tick population is to the point that when I come in from the woods, it's not "if" but "how many". They've long passed yellowjackets as my unfavoritest insect, despite my sting history from the latter being well over 100.
Do you treat your clothes before you go out? They also have hunting clothes that are treated so you went get ticks.

They were all getting over $300+ here too, But there's more pot then people to buy or smoke it, You can get a pound for $500/lb or i can anyways.
Is there still a black market for weed?

It’s still pretty ugly in Massachusetts. In the eastern part of the state there’s tons of money that doesn’t care what prices are. Out this way, more than half the dispensary business is wealthy tri-staters passing through or folks from NH and VT.
I would never pay for weed but I check the prices online and it is still going for over $300/oz at MA stores.
It’s mind boggling that there has not been any price correction in Massachusetts.
Also, it’s not like you’re $350-$400 per ounce weed is anything spectacular. I grow nicer looking and smelling stuff in my veggie garden every summer.
I'm surprised more people just don't grow it, I'm in tons of houses every year and I see a few people growing. I don't use it but if I did my cheap ass would grow it.

There’s no basis for criticism. I look at everything everyday ..just like you and everyone else. The fact that someone who questions the validity of day 14+ modeling gets ridiculed seems a bit odd. All I am doing is expressing the idea.. maybe it won’t work out snowy and cold. And maybe it will . I mean whip me with a wet towel in the locker room for not buying in full throttle .
Big snap to your cahones

This place is funny. God forbid anyone express any worries or concerns that things might possibly not turn out like they are modeled . I mean if you’ve been around long enough.. you know the pattern is not going to turn epic like these forecasters and models are saying. I just can’t excited anymore at day 14 progs . They never work out . Not to say it won’t snow by Dec 10
So, you're not happy because the models look good two weeks out because it might not happen, but would you be unhappy if they looked terrible two weeks out?

One of the butchers i use gives you the option when he vac packs your venison to infuse the meat with numerous different flavorings, I had him do some bourbon and teryaki steak tips and i'll tell you what, Its awesome as well as he makes a deer sausage spiced to the heat of your liking, The burger, He mixes it with some fat as its very lean.
The backstraps are good, the rest my cousin makes burgers, sausage and stews, I don't hunt but he does.

Yeah if the right pattern sets up, one even better than those past winters, it can certainly beat them. These days you just need that extra 10% of perfection to best the past in cold records.
Don't need records, just below average cold will do.

You have a more favorable date I think. Mine is a stretch in sne and even less frequent in NNE. Steve has the best one-2/10.
I was born April 2nd so not sure I can count the April Fools storm, my father said the day I was born was an ice storm. Maybe why I like winter weather so much.
