I'm at 33 with light snow, I took a ride to the store, and it was all rain there already, expecting a switch here soon.

Nothing but Miller A tracks. Razors-edge on p-type. Call them what you want - SWFE, inside runners, what-ever...
Not a good way to run a winter.
Many chances with each a different fingerprint. Tracking rapid-fire. Outcomes still TBD! Still time to salvage a 1/2 winter. Some will cash in, but southern New England is not the place to be in this type of pattern. Central and Northern should do well in the next 10 days.

Heading to do some sledding mid week. Amazing how when heading to snow…it doesn’t matter no where near as much if you get screwed where you live tomorrow or Wednesday.
That's why I'm going to head north in a couple weeks for a few days to snowmobile. As long as there's a good pack up there, all's good.
You going up to the cabin Wolfie?

Yeah N CT got mostly skunked but that inch line prob got down a bit south of the pike…at least in some areas.
I'm just south of the pike and ended up with an inch, looks like Woodstock to my south did as well.

I was talking about Monday... but, yeah... they're kinda twin events -
Do you think the Wednesday storm has a chance of snow to the coast, it looks a little better on the models than Monday's system.

Barely a coating for us in CT since Dec 11, that will do it to anyone. We’ve become angry, bitter, and pessimistic. Even an inch here and there would change the mood, get to fire up the snow blower, shoveling up some six inch driveway piles off an inch of snow while your neighbor lets it melt by noon goes a long way to warm the snow weenies winter heart.
If we could just move that south 40-50 miles.

There was 1.5” new on the board by the time I could measure around 4:30. Then there was a pretty heavy band that moved through while I was cleaning the driveway. Maybe another half inch in the last hour? I’m right around 6” for the event. Then my snowblower crapped out. The auger that throws it out the shute stopped turning. Ugh.
That kept happening with my last one, I'd replace the belt have it serviced, and it kept doing it, so I traded it in. Nothing worse than have 18 inches of snow and the blower doesn't work. Had to borrow my neighbors one time. At least you don't have a large amount to move.

Snow picked up a bit and the grounds covered now that the temp dropped a bit.

Today would have been a nice little storm if we had any cold air. Snowed all day. Nothing to show for it.
The next two storms too, we could have had a great week upcoming with a little colder air.

Thanks. Looking forward to seeing it. We’ve had some sporadic flakes in Dudley ((CT border) but no sign of at all. Just more mud.
Same here next town over.

That northeast corner of ORH county seemed to do really well with the flip back to snow last night....down on winter hill in northern ORH city, there was just a brief flip at the end, so it was like 10 miles was the difference between a coating and 4"+ from last night.
I noticed that driving around Worcester this afternoon, back home I'm just wet.
-
Just flakes melting on contact at my house, in Worcester now, steady snow and grounds covered. Salt trucks laying it deep on 290.

Curious what you all use for a weather app on your phone? This would be just a quick go-to app, check the radar etc. Have never found one I like. Maybe I need to pay few bucks for one?
I like Myradar for radar because it gives to temp wherever you put the X.

I guess if I want to see decent snow this year, I'll have to go up north, was thinking of snowmobiling one weekend so I'll be rooting for good snows up north.

Light drizzle looking snow just started, melting on contact.
