  1. Looks like a lot of southern NE will get a net gain from the 1/10 storm. We could start building a pack in the next week.
  2. Even if it's a smaller event, the ground will be white, and my snow removal muscles will get a light workout for the bigger ones to come.
  3. I ate a squirrel once, my father grew up during the great depression and they used to eat squirrel and turtle, taste like chicken.
  4. It's on a separate thread, still on.
  5. I looked at pics, they have restaurants out there and they supply everything, the cost isn't bad either, sounds like a fun time that I want to try one year, and I've always wanted to go to Winter Carnival in Quebec, my sister went a couple years ago and said it was a good time.
  6. You seem to like cod, ever think of doing this? I plan on getting up there one year, no ice yet this year but they seem to think by mid Jan they'll have the huts on the river. The Outfitters | Tomcod Ice Fishing Festival Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade (lespetitspoissons.ca)

  9. Get some snow in here and worry about rain later.
  10. $40 and $50 at Fenway, that's why I take the T in, much cheaper and I don't have to drive through traffic.
  11. That's what I paid for a 16oz beer at the Colorado Rockies ballpark and it was through a machine, no people involved.
  12. Absent Powderfreaks winter pictures that what we have to look at, hopefully PF has some good snow pics soon.

  14. I'm anticipating heavy traffic which is why I wanted to go up the day before and spend the night, since the eclipse is in the afternoon, I would stay that night too. Not only is everyone booked but they charged an arm and a leg. The only way around it is to leave very early that day and hopefully not everyone else gets the same idea. I might stay at my sisters in Maine and cut some time off for the early morning drive. It would really suck though if I spent a few hundred to stay a couple nights and it was totally cloudy. I guess I could try and chase it but that may be tough.
