last two hours here have matched anything this afternoon...has to be gusting to 50 plus at times....roaring like a jet engine

what a wild and rather wintry day

Doesn't want to stop, lightens up then roars again, wish we had a foot of powder on top to blow around, drifts would be insane.

Central Maine Power now has 1,390 customers w/out power, almost all in extreme southern Maine, a huge jump from about 300 less than an hour ago. Looks like the real wind has started arriving. Pretty tepid here, though.

My sister says high winds at her house in York.

I would take that any day of the week and twice on Sunday compared to my current mud pit.

Different world up there, decent snow pack, good piles, just cold enough for frozen today, Ill try and post pics. They look good for midweek storm.

Can't a brotha  get some IP around here?  Nice to see you're sharing some ice-love with my new digs.

Tonight's my last night at the Pit.  Hampton Inn tomorrow; my wife's apartment in Westboro on Thursday, and then finally into the new Pit1 on Friday.  Man, I'm tired.

You must wake up in the morning and say WTF am I?

...but... but... the most recent GFS had sleet line only to coastal RI/CT at 0z

    NAM handled this event well.

Yeah sleet line is on the move, but looks to have some resistance north of MA/CT border.

23z-1z is critical if Boston area is to reach 5-6"... mesos bring in heaviest rates around 23z and changeover 0z-1z

Im right on the line and still snow
