Ha yup he was up in Stowe this weekend. He’s actually cousin-in-law... his wife is the one related to me. That family is who we come to visit... they own a place on the lake here in Woodstock, just bought it recently. Right next to my parent’s place.
Bungee?

After 8? I guess they really wanted to try and get a winner since ties are an abomination in Baseball?
I can't envision this game starting again tonight and the Royals play in Detroit tomorrow.
They gave both teams a shot in the ninth to end it and neither did, its over for tonight.

The bear population seems to be exploding in my area of Central NH. They are everywhere. When one crosses our yard or field it's not even worth getting up off the sofa to take a look.
Sightings have become more prevalent in my area too, my wife's friend had one in her yard in Leicester and she lives right off Stafford St.

Was out at York beach today and was shocked how warm the water is...just checked buoys throughout the Gulf of Maine...lots of upper 60’s and low 70’s already....For early July? Wow...
It warmed quick, I was up there last week and the temp at Ogunquit was 59.

Taunton looks next in line

Wicked storm just hit and knocked out power for half of town. Just south of Worcester. My wife said hail at the house, I was across town in a torrential downpour but no hail.

It’s a bit short on the science and more about the drama....I had to look up a few things like the significance of finding shattered graphite...but that’s expected in a series to draw the audience in. Regular Joe and Sarah don’t want to sit through a physics class for x amount of episodes. But they do showcase the science fairly well which I’m mostly tuned it for...attempting to wrap my head around it.
Imaging if you were conscripted to shoot all those animals, dogs and cats included? I'd have to drink a bottle of vodka in the morning before I started.

I lost 3 balls on drives I hit down the middle of the fairway Wednesday, I've never see the course so soggy in 20 years.

Our league starts this week, weather looks dicey but theres always a week at the beginning that's miserable.

Chimney guy came today, we were overdue, never got our fall cleaning so it had been almost 2 seasons of burning. He was blown away by how little creosote build up we had! He told me we were in the minority of clients they have in terms of proper burning practices. I told him I even burn about 20% pine. Looks like I at least learned something after 9 years of wood fires. It's a late 70's Vermont Castings that had very few hours on it when I bought it used. Last year after much research I realized that it's a stove that likes to run fairly wide open and not get dampered too much under 450F. Our house is small so it get's a little warm but I have no issue with shorts and a t-shirt in January.
I find if I season my wood a couple years I get very little creosote, I have one of the new Woodstock hybrid stoves.

Was a good storm in the thompson-woodstock-pomfret area.

The last three times I've gone to Florida in late march I've missed a decent snow storm. I think Will posted the years, I'm going in two weeks so expect a storm in that time frame.

Yes Sir...the pics were off the charts! Drifts of 20-30 ft plus....never seen it like that even up there. Houses buried and the banks on the side of the road are insane. Can't wait to see and be there.
Take some pics wolfie

Town beach is located on Muddy Pond, Lake Bungee has a lot of homes on it so I took a guess.
