I topped out at 50 too, let the wood stove burn out for it's mid season cleaning, may really need it next weekend.

Quite a week that must have been in 1957, probably was below zero a few more nights in that stretch.

I remember some good times in the 80's at the Beast, they did get some good storms and I remember skiing with a cast on my left hand when it was single digits. As bad as the 80's were there were some decent periods.

It's had it and lost it a couple of times, maybe it will stick. Had us -20s in Mass at one point, never believed that but I could see the cold seeping down to you guys.

Same thing when I went to Hampshire county today, some yards fully covered, depends on elevation but even lower elevations had some patchy snow.

We do get a decent cold shot the first week, not as bad as originally modeled but -20s usually don't happen here. Would like a pack of some size before the cold hits.

GFS still has the cold shot beginning of Feb but not the -20s it was showing the other day. Would like to see that happen, that's about as cold as we get.

My brother got up at 4am this morning to clear, I told him he should have let the sun do the work. Took care of most of my drive.

My sister only got 3-4 inches in York, I thought for sure she would get 6-12. Coast must have influenced more than I thought.
