  1. Tough to capture with all the windows and doors caked with snow and ice. But here’s a short video. https://share.icloud.com/photos/04f6D7HbYDqnjyo5p1oC9pO9A
  2. Just getting that first blue hue of the sunrise. I'm giddy to see what i can ACTUALLY see.
  3. Yeah, unfortunate nest dynamics shift eastward and you lose that forcing to keep solid band
  4. Probably a fruitless endeavour. as far as past storms like this, Jan 2005 and 2015 would be comparable
  5. Holy shit. It keeps ramping up. Can’t see building across complex. 100yds
  6. I think band pivots over you for a few hours around 8-10am. You’ll catch the ML band that’s west of you right now as well. That’ll be this afternoon.
  7. Noted a pair of distinct bands already formed. One from eastern Long Island to the south coast of MA/RI that appears to be associated with deep frontogenesis in the 925-700 mb layer. Thinking this band stays just southeast of the I-95 corridor between Boston and Providence through mid morning, before pivoting farther west into the late morning and afternoon. The second band looked to be driven by a frontogentical band in the 850-700 mb layer, so not quite as intense but enough to lead to localized enhancement of snowfall. This second band shifts east through this afternoon as the offshore low pressure moves away from our region.
