    Which was that storm that the Euro had an absolutely horrific bust on because its SST's along the eastern seaboard were completely off, resulting in a big bust in its forecast... it must have been 2014 or something because it was back when I was still doing forecasting Point is, thats the kind of error we need (but in reverse) for most people lol

    yeah, they're native to China I think, right? alot of China gets hella cold, considering their geography and having pretty much direct access to cold air just north of them at all times

    Yeah... Realistically speaking, the only ones really in the game at this point are Cape Cod and Nantucket Montauk is kinda, sorta maybe a little in the game and points west of that are almost definitively done for gonna keep watching through 12z tomorrow since thats when the s/w will be over the US fully for the first time, but, barring pretty massive changes, this goose is cooked for 99.99% of our sub-forum

    is it me, or are isopleth's overlapping here lol This is the ugliest looking thing I think I have ever seen *edit - Ok, I see it now, the 531 perfectly matches the NJ coastline and the "overlap" is just perfectly timed to when they pinch-off from one another

    thats what it looked like based on solely the SLP placements too... Definitely more that go both left and far right, so something is causing divergence somewhere along the line

    For the Cape and Nantucket its probably closer to like 20 though with QPF of at least 1" Even if verbatim its not good for most people's backyards, its still very close to a bigger deal for alot of people

    which is why its imperative to keep hope alive. I mean, IMBY I'm 99.9% sure I'm toast, but still its not like I have anything else better to do when its 15 degrees outside lol

    if I had to guess, I'd say anywhere from like Montauk to Boston is still in the game There may be 2 outs in the the bottom of the 8th and they're down by 5 on the road, but it ain't over til its over

    Hahah, nah. One of the lines in the song is about how he gets sent to the "Group W bench" for being a litterbug so they wanted to make sure he was "moral enough to join the army" which is what I was paraphrasing before haha Of course, here the Group W bench is for weenies, not criminals

    If that little chunk of energy over northern NY is real, I want that ish to be much more pronounced and displaced over like Cleveland so we can see them dance instead of it dropping a hammer down on our big beautiful bowling ball
