  1. Queens,NY That was an epic multiple KU winter.
  2. Thundersnow, thunder sleet, plenty of lightning. Epic.
  3. I'd walk to a train. Can't be worse! Twas a nice evening for a stroll earlier too. Pretty much dry slotted now. 95ish% frozen. What a pleasant bust.
  4. I would've gotten off 3 and a half hours ago. MTA going your way.
  5. I think its 80 years but regardless the clowns there finally managed to measure correctly for once. Confirmed. Absolute disaster of a commute, downed trees on park Ave, and big GWB pile up. (Not my pic- lifted from NYC thread but just goes to show NYC chaos)
  6. Pre treating wouldn't have made a difference with those rates earlier. Nothing you can do with all the traffic as well. Horrible timing and surprise factor. Still sleeting here, might make it to the dryslot frozen.
  7. The Oil tycoon is a troll banned poster. Ignore.
  8. No. Looks to go too far North. LHV theres a slight chance.
  9. Still 100% frozen. Sleet with some snow still mixing in. Impressive to say the least.
  10. Chaos here in the NYC metro. ~5" still holding on to frozen precip with a sleet/snow mix.
  11. Salt does absolutely nothing when you have 2"/hr rates. Just saying. City not having plows ready was the main issue.
  12. No. I don't see anyone with 8+" in NYC. Certainly no 3' reports in Virginia. UK, Euro, and HRRR ftw.
  13. The other night I was bored and did some research math, when NYC gets 3" or more they average like 36" it would've been higher but I had to exclude 95-96 when 2.9" fell.
  14. Yeah when an inch is expected and you get 2" in an hour things get messy.
  15. Amen. Good stuff looks to be over but probably a good 3" here.
  16. Borderline heavy snow. I'm admittedly impressed. Well done HRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
  17. Might want to go look at CC mix line racing NE.
