    For some reason it turns mild around Christmas. Even the epic 2009 24-25 was mild if I remember right with rain.

    I would think GFS should be in deadly range at this point. Even slight adjustments probably wouldn't help. we'll get the next one perhaps.

    Overrunning is money when done right. A wrapped up Miller A is great but so rare and precarious that it’s almost always threading a rusty needle.

    The pattern change part from Horst sounds encouraging. Not sure we won’t see another 60s day around these parts after Monday. We seem to make spectacular showings of warmth right around Dec 24th.

    End of the 6z GEFS looks serviceable to me at h5. Decent BN 850 temp anomaly in our region. There should be more frosty mornings in our future.
