At least we know some snow is almost a lock at this point for almost everyone here. That was a stretch just about 10 days ago. You should be stoked!

It’s that damn CMC run with the green snow depth yesterday. I’m telling you it fcuks with people. Gets everyone juiced up so much that 6 inches seems like a fail. It’s not right it’s just the MA forum crew MO. We have a chance to reset again for 0z with 4 days left.

Right. Wasn’t being snarky. I just follow the 540 contour because it’s easy. I would be quite happy if the 534 was south of DC..but it’s not. Sadly.

Yes. But again I just don’t see a ZR event. I could be wrong but if the low is west it will erode the low level cold enough to get the Piedmont above 32. We don’t have a 1045 over Albany with -25F temps bleeding down the apps. This is rain or snow with thin layer of sleet somewhere. It’s all about the low placement now. I toggled back the last 3 GFS runs and west run means it pushed the cold and snow west. Still time. Let’s watch and not get invested.

I didn’t realize that was a know bias with the GFS especially since the upgrade. So if you take the over amped Euro and this it should smooth out to a favorable solution.

All valid concerns. It’s what makes tracking fun and shitty at the same time. No sun angle concerns so that’s one to take off the list lol.

I’ve noticed a difference over the years between Woodbridge and here even though it’s only about 15 miles NW. either way you are solid unless there is some big changes.

I could see sleet east of the fall line but not sure ZR is much of an issue.

Nah. You’ll get snow too I bet. Might get more sleety than you would like.

At about 20miles west of the fall line I am confident I will hear some pingers. Another 25 miles SE for the surface would be nice breathing room.

Yes. I did notice the surface low was tucked in a little closer which may account for the reduced totals warmer temps SE of of DC. Minor details have major implications on RN/SN line.
