  1. It did not waiver as much as all the other models. It had blips, but a lot less than others. I am sure I don’t need to remind you of all the dynamics that cause forecasting to be difficult. Euro is just a tool, but it shouldn’t be discounted.
  2. Believe me, living in between Richmond and DC…I watch RVA like a hawk. I just didn’t remember euro giving RVA that much consistently.
  3. Did it show it one time and you held on to that run?
  4. This is an improvement for my area. Just looking for a coating.
  5. Sorry for the d*ck pics but best for pictures. Top left, how it started and progressed until a few moments ago. I have no complaints with this storm.
  6. Spotsylvania, 6 inches with a crust, so have probably been pinging a while, only just hearing it hit. No complaints here.
  7. I always cheer for you guys. I work in Richmond often and love to see the snow down there. Don’t count your eggs until they hatch. Let’s see what happens here.
  8. Watching from my area, Euro has been the rock. It really has not bounced around like the other models. I’m hopeful for our chances in southern areas.
  9. You know I saw that NAM run and all I could do was laugh at the hole over my house hahaha!
  10. I don’t think I have experienced an all snow event in the 16 years I’ve lived in Spotsy. It causes some issues with trees on power lines but I slightly prepare. Even if it doesn’t forecast pingers, we always get it.
  11. The tracking of the storm and circus of main threads is what brings me back every season lol. It’s the characters that we know. i am near Fredericksburg, I will say that the models have been nail biters each time down here. But it’s expected.
  12. A nice surprise to see flakes mixing in down near Fredericksburg. Just nice to see falling.
  13. That looks like someone really wants to get to know you!
  14. Definitely moved north enough, in the last 12 hours, to take all digi snow away from those of us near EZF, ouch. But staying positive for a few flakes.
  15. I am so used to the north trend that I always set my bar low. I was happy to get snowy scenery and flakes in the air. My happy place, so a win for me
  16. It definitely happened this last storm. I am in the Spotsylvania area and we had a bullseye for a while. The final 24 hours of modeling moved it north a ways and final results were north getting more. (It’s the same with most storms). I only remember a handful where I got more than the north crew in the last 15 years.
  17. Show decent returns over me in Spotsy, but nothing falling yet.
  18. Unless radar reality is on that bingo card, no bingo for you
  19. Are we going to roll this thread right into obs for this one? Looks like some blue returns over the area.
  20. I was just looking at radar and noting how large this system is. Impressive.
  21. Isn’t the storm just pretty much starting there? I don’t know if I’d call it a bust yet.
  22. Spotsy backwoods are tough to get through in good weather. Add in down limbs and trees, it would be a nightmare for buses. I have no complaints.
  23. Spotsy-Flakes and pellets. I’ll take it. update-it’s at least something frozen.
