1.39" yesterday and little to no wind thankfully. Still need to clean up a large branch that fell into another tree during Tuesday nights .08" but with much more wind when it came through.

Twas the excess of alcohol the night before that was the true culprit. Nonetheless while I do like the beach if I had to choose I'd take the mountains over the beach. 79/71 here with the breeze, looks like I may get clipped by some showers in an hour or two.

The last time I was on a boat on the ocean I could've used some wind...my uncle was letting my 7 and 8 year old sons at the time steer the boat in circles at slow speeds as I sat in the back rather hungover. Well the fumes of the exhaust, which was not getting blown away fast enough for me, and going in circles in the hot sun was enough for me to add some chum to the water. Some decent gusts up here in the "highlands" that are making it a bit more tolerable for someone like me who would love all of summer to be like yesterday.

For at least the third time in the past 10 years the tennis courts fence was blown over the other night. The other times were 5/15/18 and mid September 2014 thanks to a microburst.

Power came back here at little after 11am, so a little over 14 hours it was out. That doesn’t come close to the Snowicane in 2010 when I was out for 3 and a half days. Edit: When the tree clipped my house in the 5/15/18 event that outage was close to 2010 but that was due to the damage on the house.

A lovely morning thankfully, still no restoration estimates from Central Hudson. Guess it's about time to fire up the genny.

That storm was pretty legit here, power out, a number of branches down but no damage or wires down around my house.
