hard to say how much they'll mix down-last weekend's event was a bust wind wise but a few weeks ago one overperformed with no advisories for anyone and we had gusts to almost 50- 489 replies

54 here-feels great outside on my lunch break
-
That, downsloping winds over the Rockies and warm great lakes-any cold will modify at least in the short term (next couple weeks)
-
Even this weekend's storm track up to the benchmark would be mostly rain outside of the higher elevations
-
The lack of any decent cold air source(outside of a random day or two) going back to last winter is amazing....
-
It's like the cold miser vs the heat miser
-
Just 45 short days away....
-
55 would bring down some limbs but if it's 40 or less no big deal with most deciduous trees

Honestly I just want decent weather (if it's not going to snow) nothing worse than an xmas rainstorm.

6z GFS is very wet just inland with up to 5 inches of rain-would think the coast would see some good winds with this inland track- 489 replies

Mood flakes maybe. Still a week or so out anyway so can/will change regardless.

NYC is not seeing accumulating snow with those temps especially after 60's and rain the day before

Freezer

It's my avatar pic. LOL. To me torch is +10 or more on the day....I've also seen the term "furnace" in the SNE forum
-
Who cares it's still too warm for any frozen for the most part (verbatim)
-
Not much cold air even if it took an offshore track....
-
that's one heck of a storm-how often do you see a 984 monster over S Virginia?
