  1. One event got you there in any given decade, the law of averages states that snowfall is going up in NYC, not down.
  2. Central Park Snowfall by Decade 70s 21.2" 80s 19.7" 90s 24.7" 00s 31.5" 10s 33.2" Old 30 year average- 80s-00s- 25.3" New 30 year average-90s-10s- 29.8"
  3. Yeah NYC and Boston 30 year AVG is up a little bit especially Bos. They only need 1-2 big storms and it gets them there.
  4. I disagree the 30 year averages in NYC and Boston have gone way up while everywhere else goes down. https://www.spadalawgroup.com/blog/the-past-15-years-have-been-the-snowiest-in-massachusetts-history.cfm
  5. Just a half a day faster and that thing is merging with that wave coming from Huron and we all get slammed. All about timing the waves.
  6. Looks really good for east coasters, only 4 days out now.
  7. Felt like spring yesterday. 52 and sunny after work, went for a 4 mile run. If we don't get snow that is what I'm hoping for. High was 53 at KBUF, currently at +2.4 for the month of December.
  8. I'll be staying pretty close to your house Dec 18-20th. I would actually highly prefer this path. This would bring 20+ to lower dack range. I'm also off Thurs and we might drive up early to go ski whiteface.
  9. Pulaski is due for a big event. Your time is coming.
  10. I would still do it. Lots of spotters don't measure every event.
  11. @lakeeffectkid383 4 years ago today, came up in my fb feed
  12. Many parts of Oklahoma are near 20” this year already
  13. Cold and dry is the worst pattern. I'd rather it be 50s and sun. If it isn't going to snow, give me the warmth.
  14. Even KBUF is bored, the absolute worst pattern. Cold and dry. I would literally take any other pattern then this one. It virtual guarantees Buffalo with a well below normal snowfall season. .LONG TERM /TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY/... A cold, dry airmass will be in place through a majority of the Long Term period. Temperatures will be below normal with highs in the 20s and lows in the single digits to teens from Tuesday to Friday. Unfortunately for snow lovers, the best chance for accumulating snow will be closer to Interstate-95 from the Mid- Atlantic region to southern New England as a coastal low develops off the coast. There could still be a widespread snowfall as far north as Western and North Central NY but with the current consensus track amounts would be light.
  15. Looks like high winds on Sat night into Sunday. Good thing Bills game is at night.
  16. 53 and sunny out right now. Going for a run after work. If it doesn't snow this is the weather we want.
