  1. With lake temps so warm and that cold coming I don't think sustained flow would even matter. Everyone would have feet.
  2. Once lake erie freezes im cheering for a WNW/NW event for you tug. You haven't even been in a real LES event yet. Something like this would do it for you. https://www.weather.gov/buf/lesEventArchive?season=2010-2011&event=C
  3. Mon night into Tues should be the best chance of good accumulating snow for KBUF.
  4. RGEM has a really strong LES band over erie county on Tuesday. 1-2' and still going strong beyond 84 hours at 1:10 -13 850s is plenty enough
  5. Roswell said they're researching whether or not they are going to give cancer patients the covid vaccine as it has not been studied enough yet.
  6. uh oh https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-01-15/norway-warns-of-vaccination-risks-for-sick-patients-over-80
  7. Looks like quite a few lake enhanced events coming up for Erie County the next week. Wouldn't be surprised if some get well over a foot by next weekend, especially higher elevations. https://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmdn/pcpn_type/pcpn_type_gem_reg.html
  8. Yeah it hammers my location. Temps marginal, but lots of synoptic support.
  9. Yeah I just meant for here, you should still do well.
  10. Analogs for this weekend. This is a higher elevation event, Chau. ridge and tug. http://www.eas.slu.edu/CIPS/ANALOG/DFHR.php?reg=EC&fhr=F060&rundt=2021011412&map=thbCOOP72
  11. Won't be getting much lake effect with these temps
  12. Yeah, that's crazy. I don't know how you get good lake effect with temps that warm. I know lake temps are very warm, but still the temps are so marginal. Synoptic aid can help a lot though as it becomes more lake enhanced vs lake effect snow, especially out your way closer to the low.
  13. You're right, we're in a really good spot for synoptic. In the battlezone, feel pretty confident in 1/2 storms the next 2-3 weeks. We take.
  14. Canadian would be awesome, nearly 2' here. Tossed farther then uncle Ricos football.
  15. GFS run is pretty warm, no real arctic air at all within 10 days.
  16. I think 10-15" is easily in range, elevation will help a lot with a marginal event like this.
