I don't think the majority of people realize how effective these vaccines are. The flu vaccine is only 40-60% effective. The Measles vaccine is 97% effective and virtual eradicated the virus completely. These covid vaccines have great efficacy.

I haven't but I watched what the health and cowspiracy. My wife has been vegan for 3 years and my best friend for 5 years. I only eat chicken/seafood and only drink almond milk. Do you know how much of climate change can be contributed to the amount of meat we eat? It's mind blowing. They're constantly trying to make me switch.

Yeah the 2nd article I posted showed the actual numbers. Covid really didn't affect kids 18 and under. The brazilian mutation seems to be targeting the younger population more.

The flu is 10 times more deadly for those under 17, unless I am reading the data incorrectly?

Yeah I had a ice hockey game tonight. We all went outside in the parking lot after and drank beers around their trucks. Usually we drink in the locker room. Can't beat this weather.

Yeah if anyone is to get a vaccine, I would choose Pfizer, its nearly at full FDA approval. To put it into context, pre workout is not FDA approved and I took that for 6 years.

Just got my 1st Pfizer shot, was a little dizzy for the first 1-2 minutes but feel fine now. I hate needles in general and get really light headed/dizzy whenever I get blood work I have to sit in that big blue chair and lay back. It's something genetic as my sister is the same way. Extremely smooth operation at University of Buffalo, thousands of people getting vaccinated over there each day.

Definitely a cool down to around normal temps coming. We cannot keep this heat up. Average highs are low 50s with lows in 30s.

There doesn’t need to be a study. I’m sure there is one. But I don’t enjoy lifting at home like the gym. My entire social group was developed here. We all love health and pushing each other to be better. This place saved me from a pretty dark place in the past.

This setup would cost me quite a bit during Covid. Weights are so overpriced right now. I would need like $10k for my gym. I worked out at home until Gyms open. I do a lot of outdoor running and sports but I love lifting weights. It’s my anxiety/stress cure.

It's rough going from work all day with a mask to the gym and wearing one. I cannot wait for the day I can throw that thing away for good. After my gym session, its dripping in sweat. I agree, but the full FDA approval would most likely be based on the initial vaccine given, any other boosters would likely need further authorization? In all my research it seems the variants are not that far off from the original strain and any infection if it does happen results in minimal issues. In my opinion the media is fear mongering with the variants causing an entire new wave of covid. This virus is toast come summertime.

You're right. Initial reports suggested that the vaccines didn't fair too well against the SA variant in particular. There have been a few studies done with the Brazilian one showing similar efficacy to the original strain. The data is obviously limited as these variants are so new. Its 91% for the Brazilian and the same efficacy vs UK as original strain which was 95% but after further review with 6 months of data it is now also 91%.
