Looks like a pretty big snow event for the Adirondacks.

3 years ago my wife and I were at a wedding in Perry New York. At 8 pm we were eating dessert with my good friend who was 27 at the time, at 9 pm be passed out on the ground and after an hour of trying to bring him back he was dead at 10 pm. There was a doctor and several nurses at the wedding. Brain aneurysm at 27. I'll never forget that night.

A personal story I just got from my wife in regards to the J&J vaccine. My wifes friends friend from church got the J&J on Friday. She was dizzy over the weekend. She passed out and went to the ER. She had a blood clot in her brain, the clot is now draining and is in stable condition. Pretty scary stuff...I'd stick with Moderna/Pfizer.

It's pretty bad. My instagram and facebook pages are on fire with online protests on requiring a vaccine for bills game lol. I think I'm going to stay out of those, people are mad.

I think it eventually gets changed to negative test/vaccine. The uprising has been insane today. I'd say about 50% of my friends are not getting the vaccine and are pretty adamant on it. I do respect their individual freedom. I can see both sides to this.

This is the best news I've heard in awhile. I have a few anti vaxxer friends with seasons. I bet they are going to get counterfeit passports. Anyway to prevent that from happening? Similar to fake ids.

My coworker is a huge anti vaxxer and she went to Mcdonalds yesterday for lunch and smoked a cigarette as she was leaving.

Would you not take Chemo or radiation if you got cancer with this type of reasoning?

Or go to McDonalds everyday for lunch. I have a few coworkers who smoke a pack a day and are anti vaxxers. Makes no sense.

Crazy, all this stuff we put into our bodies isn't good for us. I try to do as much natural as I can. My diet needs improvement too, but I like pizza too much.

I agree, that is what I meant. The older more susceptible get the vaccine, youths don't really need to worry right now. The only issue is the Brazilian variant is impacting the younger population. However, we don't have enough data on it yet.

I 100% agree, they don't. More kids die from the flu in any given year than Covid. They can carry the virus and infect those more susceptible to it. However, once that age group is fully vaccinated it won't matter.

I don't disagree. I was similar to you in not wanting to get the vaccine at all. But changed my mind after doing lots of research on the Pfizer one. My mom has advanced stage 4 cancer as well and I take her to treatments every week with a hospital full of cancer patients. I feel quite safe with the one I got. I think mRNA vaccines are the future, the possibilities with the new technology is amazing. The old style vaccines like J&J and Astra are the ones having the side effects it seems. However, minuscule they are.

How would that ever happen with an mRNA vaccine? Is that even possible? The half life of the spike protein is so short, any potential side effects would be manifested quite quickly.
