  1. Currently got a 1/4 inch of fine powder, with another 6 hours of snow. Looks like I owe someone a beer. Gonna wind up with an inch or 2 here. Enjoy everyone.
  2. Been under "snow" according to the radar for a couple hours now. Hopefully it eventually saturates enough for flakes. You definitely can see a sharp cut off with I20 and north of it.
  3. Nice thing about the storm for me, was all schools and Govt offices closed. Made my trip to airport earlier to pick my in-laws up a breeze. Roads were dead.
  4. It's Virga. I just drove through that.
  5. A raging virga storm over the ATL area. None of this is hitting the ground. And where is everyone???? Possible historic event, and everyone is sleeping?? Wake up!!!
  6. Everyone sticking to their original forecast at the moment. I do think that changes in a few hours.
  7. Coastal peeps need to be worried about too much of a NW trend. Remember what happened last week? Threading a needle between snow or slop.
  8. Completely agree. This isn't our storm. Ours was last week.
  9. Some people are definitely going to get some decent snow on the GA/FL border, and the GA, SC, NC coast. I wouldn't get too caught up with the NW trend.
  10. Seems a little conservative, thinking a little more on totals on the south side of the map. Maybe they are thinking some mixing.
  11. Sounds good. I think I trust your measurements over nws spotters.
  12. I wouldn't put too much faith in the GFS at this point.
  13. I'll wager a beer at pearl and pine. What's the over under? Btw, I'm right off 16 across from draft room.
  14. I will enjoy the mood flakes here tomorrow evening. Looks like that's all I will see. Better than nothing.
  15. Going down to 16 tonight, 18 tomorrow night and 13 Tuesday night. I don't know what people are talking about it not being cold. Maybe the coast is gonna be warmer than modeled?
  16. Chances are dwindling. Maybe 40 or 50 miles south of ATL could pick up an inch.
  17. I could admit being wrong, but I never have been.
  18. Southern GA and Northern Florida still looking like a disaster for ice.
  19. I was just about to post that. I am in south Coweta county, and they issued a WSW. Looks like I am looking at maybe an inch if lucky. Seems a bit premature, but I guess it couldn't hurt to be proactive. Slight shift north could put us in a 3 inch range.
  20. Sorry for my ridiculous posts last night. Too much beer watching the lions ruin their season last night.
  21. Almost an inch and a half of zr....what a disaster that would be.
  22. LMFAO, this ain't happening. 17 inches in northern Florida. Like I said, throw this out.
  23. Sleetfest/freezing rain for the coast on the nam. Still not putting much stock in it, until tomorrow evening.
  24. Along with every other model. I think we need start looking at the nam later tomorrow to see what that is showing.
