  1. Yup, I jumped the gun. We picked up 1.83" so far. MUCH needed!
  2. Another bust here with the precip here. We just can't catch a break. We are in a serious drought now.
  3. I'm seeing 80's of November on the GFS. Its definitely a possibility.
  4. Wondering if that heat in the West coast then makes it to the southeast mid November. More than likely.
  5. Beautiful 85 and sun yesterday. Still lacking rain here though. We have had an inch of rain the last 60 days. Its all or nothing around these parts.
  6. Just got back from a miserable coast trip with rain and wind, and cold. Beautiful sunny day and 82 degrees here in ATL area!
  7. Leave it for me to have a long weekend planned in Hilton head this weekend. Grrrr. Rainy and windy today and tomorrow....FUN??? Yet back at home in the ATL area gonna be beautiful with Sunshine and 80. As a matter of fact looks to be in the low 80's with sunshine for the next 10 days. DRY as a bone around here.
  8. I remember that. We had no power either, so no heat too!
  9. That's nuts! We only got .80" this month and 1" in August.
  10. Definitely seems like actual landfall is off the table thankfully. Still some uncertainty, but most models in agreement with it getting close, and then moving further off the coast. Coast still could get alot of rain though.
  11. We hit 96 yesterday, with a real feel of 105! Thankfully a quick hitting TStorm hit us early this morning, dumping a quick .40" of MUCH needed rain. Hopefully we can squeeze some more precip from a TStorm or 2 later today.
  12. Of course it looks like those line of storms are moving ne. Probably going to get screwed out of rain again here south of ATL. Hopefully something happens here. Seriously need some rain here
  13. Unfortunately still very dry for most of GA. Really hoping the cold front moving through Thurs/Fri gives us some beneficial rain.
  14. For you northerners, but us southerners in GA, still seeing low to mid 80's after the next few days of low 90's
  15. Hit a high of 92 today, with a low of 67. 92 in September feels a lot different than 92 in August. More heat for us in southern ATL area. Great time of year! Pool in the afternoon, and football/MLB out back when the sun goes down. Loviing life down here in the South, well other than the lack of rain in the summer. Don't miss NY weather at all
  16. Amazing day today! Summer is back! High of 91, low of 68....oh, and a half inch of MUCH needed rain from a thunderstorm!
  17. Need a tropical system which seems unlikely. No, I am not wishing for a Hurricane, but a nice tropical system to dump 3to4 inches would be nice. My plants around my house are looking pretty bad. I remember complaining about the non stop rain in June. The precip pattern is all or nothing.
  18. We have had .08 inches in the last 30 days with none in sight for the next 2 weeks on the models. Everyone's lawn is toast, and oak trees dropping leaves. People on the coast should get some with that low though. High 80's with some low 90's thrown in for my area for the next few weeks.
  19. Hit 89 today. 89 this time of year actually feels great, especially with the lower humidity and cooler nights. Summer is back, a long with 2 more weeks of no rain for me. Dry as fk...grass is brown, trees dropping leaves. Definitely drought conditions here.
  20. High of 85 with low humidity and a cool breeze yesterday. This weather is perfect! Looks like mid to uppper 80's in the foreseeable future. Hoping the humidity stays low. The only downside is no precip in sight. We have had .08" of precip the last 4 weeks.
  21. 87 for a high today, humidity dropped through out the day. Beautiful day
  22. A touch cooler today with a forecast high of 83. Still feels humid though this morning. All the storms completely missed my area yesterday as usual. .04" precip since Aug 8th. No precip in the near future predicted either.
  23. Welp, 94 currently. Awesome pool Day!
  24. Hit a low of 70 this morning, with a forecast high of 92. Looks like another brief cooldown Sunday through Wednesday, then the heat comes back.
  25. Yes, its the GFS, and far out, but there's a major one hitting the Carolinas on Sept 18th/19th. I am sure it will change many times, but something to keep an eye on.
