March is here! low of 50 this morning, with a predicted high of 78! Upper 70's all week. Enjoy spring everyone.

Not saying it couldn't happen. More of a probably won't. Now higher elevations and more north of me, sure 20's are probable.

Ehhh, below normal in mid to late March is not that bad. For my area I'd be shocked if we get below 30 again until end of the year.

Ironically friends I have in lower Stony Brook off 347 got 26 inches, while 2 miles north by rt 25 got 19. Crazy. I remember the storm in 2013 I think it was, rt347 was the jackpot zone with 33 to 37 inches while 2 miles in either direction had more than a foot less.

What's great about the North East, especially NYC is everything is open, even during a blizzard!!! Bring some bagels down for me please!!! If you are a pizza guy, go to Joe's pizza, and pizza suprema across from msg.

It was closed for a week for the blizzard of 78. I remember that week vividly. I was 8(yes I am old). What a time!

Was a chilly 50 yesterday at echopark speedway with 40mph gusts. Thankfully the sun in the stands made is bearable. Once the sun went down for the end of the race though, brrrrr. Got cold!!! Low of 28 so far this morning, probably will drop another degree before the sun starts to rise. Tomorrow should be the last time in the 20's for my area for a while.

Just picked up an inch of rain in 45 mins with the line moving through. Another beneficial rain for us.

Yikes, the NE is gonna get DUMPED on Sunday into Monday!!! Meanwhile here in GA went from 82 yesterday, down to low 20's this Monday. I am starting to think this could be our last 20's until next December.

I think we wound up with 38 inches that storm. It was dumping 6 inches per hour at times. Never seen anything like it

Picked up .60" of precip so far, with a possibility of another .50 with that next line of storms coming. Really needed this rain. Chilly though.

Interesting. For ATL area we averaged 45.7 degrees Feb 1-12 which doesn't seem to bad to me, especially after the brutal Jan we had. I guess for Feb 45 average is low?

The below normal temps are definitely gone for most of the south east folks. Sure a random day or 2 BN will be around, but as far as I am concerned, winter is over. Spring is in the air.... literally.
