Yes, its the GFS, and far out, but there's a major one hitting the Carolinas on Sept 18th/19th. I am sure it will change many times, but something to keep an eye on.

82 and humid already at 11 am. Think we blow past the forecast high of 86. Hit 88 yesterday, with a forecast high of 84. Its definitely been a bit cooler in my area, but nothing like what it was supposed to be. I am hopeful the next cool blast Monday materializes for us.

I actually enjoy lawn work, and green grass. But yes, no rain is a perk if its not your thing.

Beautiful weather all weekend, and a nice couple of 90 degree days Fri and Saturday. Unfortunately for my neck of the woods we have only had 1.85" of rain since Aug 1st, and the last measurable rainfall was .08 on Auf 22nd. Things are getting dry. Next town over has had 4 inches of rain in the same timeframe.

Beautiful day today. High of 85, low of 65. Nice breeze. I'm seeing a couple 90 degree days Thursday and Friday. Zero rain in sight, getting dry already around here.

Had a forecast high of 83 today. We hit 89. So much for that cool down. Humidity up too

We hit 56 this morning south of ATL. Not sure what the record low is. Windows are OPEN!!!!!!

Id be shocked if Summer doesn't come back for a vengeance in Sept. This break is nice though.

Definitely been a humid summer in GA, but the ATL area being farther from the coast, helps keep the dews a touch lower.

Amazing how my area south of ATL only got 4.96" in the last 90 days!!! And 4.85" was just this month alone.

Beautiful 76 an sunny out right now. Been a while with weather like this. Last summer we had a lot of days like this thrown in between the heat. Feels great!

67 degrees, overcast and breezy. Sitting out back watching the race. Been a while that it's been this cold during the afternoon

Picked up 2.62" of rain last night. A bone chilling 69 right now. Starting Aug off well.

Wow! Finally! Picked up 1.85" of rain last night. Crazy amount of lightning and thunder for 3 hours. Weather looks unstable for the next few days with a real cool down this weekend.

My area stuck at .43" since June 21...yes, .43. With the heat too, we are crispified. My lawn is gone, no mowing needed this week.

Truly amazing how much rain has gone around me where I live. We have accumulated .40" of rain in the last 30 days, while just a few miles away have gotten 2 to 4 inches. Getting crispy out there especially with the constant 90 degree days. Not really seeing any break in the future.

So sad. Sorry for your loss. Life truly is too short. Its amazing how quickly time goes by. Don't put off things in life that you want to do, as today could be your last!

Went from rain every day beginning of June, to absolutely nothing in my area. Storms literally split around me every time they pop up. Getting dry around here, grass is browning, and the oaks are dropping leaves. Its all or nothing around here.

Why do people live in a climate they hate so much? Life is too short to be so miserable.

To be honest, it hasn't been all that hot so far this year with all the rain, and cloud cover. What it has been though is HUMID!
