We are only 15 days out, what could go wrong?
-
Well, we have the precip available for a couple events, but it doesn't seem like it will be cold enough for most during the events. Plenty of time though to have that change.
-
I am new to the south, didn't realize we could get a clipper down here. They used to overperform most times in the NE.
-
Everyone here can thank me for the cold, and snow in January, as my inground pool dig starts Jan6th
-
I was thinking the same thing. Just gonna be a cold blast with zero precip unfortunately. But I guess, just getting the cold in place is the 1st step in the right direction.
-
All it takes is for 1 or 2 more decent snowfalls for most to be at almost seasonal levels. Winter IS NOT over yet. Everyone should be thrilled with this winter compared to last year. I definitely think most get close to seasonal snowfall before winter is over.
-
Typical these years. Warm March, then cold April and May. The pattern sucks

I'm guaranteeing a snow storm march 6th. Got an important flight that day into NY

It's a weeny fest in here with some of the complaining. Everyone should be thrilled. 1st snowstorm for most in a long time. It's just getting cranking off the coast, coastal areas are about to be dumped on for most of the morning. -

It can happen, especially with the south trends. There's a ton of moisture with this storm. -

Some areas, especially the North shore could see 12 inches. -

You have a river backed property and beautiful green lawn. You would think it's April. Ugh.- 3,610 replies

We had 34 inches under a death band in that storm. People were stuck in cars on rt 347. 4 inch per hour rates for 3 hours. Never saw snow accumulate in front of my eyes like that.- 3,610 replies

I just did did the opposite. Moved south of Atlanta for less harsh winters, and no snow.

Yes, about 30 miles south
-
South of Atlanta here. Just moved from long Island NY. Trying to get used to the mid 20's at night, and then the mid 50's during the day. The temps up north didn't vary as much, I guess because being on long Island, the water kept us a bit warmer at night. I am enjoying the the warmer sun down here. Nice to get out and not be blasted with damp cold air.

I just moved south of Atlanta off the island. Funny thing down here, is it's been in the mid 20's at night, but warms to the mid 50's during the day. The mid 50's definitely feel a bit warmer though, I guess because the sun does feel a bit stronger.

Very good point. January has arrived, and so has some cold. I feel the last few years any snow in December is a gift.- 3,610 replies

I'm a newbie from NY, just moved to Georgia. I think it's colder here right now. Lol. About 30 miles south of Atlanta.

Drove through that torrential rain around 4 am Thursday morning leaving long Island with the wife following. It was terrible on the L.I.E. Accidents everywhere. We were lucky and made it down to Georgia, where we will start our new life. Good luck to everyone up north getting some snow. Im sure eventually it will happen.
