    Very good point. January has arrived, and so has some cold. I feel the last few years any snow in December is a gift.

    I'm a newbie from NY, just moved to Georgia. I think it's colder here right now. Lol. About 30 miles south of Atlanta.

    Drove through that torrential rain around 4 am Thursday morning leaving long Island with the wife following. It was terrible on the L.I.E. Accidents everywhere. We were lucky and made it down to Georgia, where we will start our new life. Good luck to everyone up north getting some snow. Im sure eventually it will happen.

    Moving to south Atlanta area in 3 days. Was hoping for a snowfall event before I left. Not happening. Oh well. Guess it's time to move on to the south east forum.

    Nope, I'm done with winter, hence the move down south. If I don't ever see a snowflake again, Id be perfectly happy with that.

    Moving outside of Atlanta next week from LI NY, I actually might see snow the 1st of the year!

    Anyone from the Atlanta area? Moving down from LI NY next week. I see colder temps at night down there, then up here. I guess, no warm water to keep the nights a bit warmer?

    Its truly amazing how consistent these storms keep coming up the coast one after another. It would be unfortunate to not get one of them to produce a snowstorm. Hopefully when the cold does arrive, it doesn't suppress the storms too far south.

    Gfs showing something for the end of the month, a bit odd looking though. Will it be cold enough though? I think it could be a i95west snow event. Plenty of time for changes though.

    I have seen torch used numerous times here. Its being used as an exaggeration, like everything these days online. Its quite annoying.
