Anything like IDA will suck for my area. So many low lying areas. Everything is already Saturated too. What are winds looking like during this time frame? -
Hit 92. Grass is looking incredible with all the rain we've had the last few days.

Intense cloud to ground lightning by my house. Non-stop thunder.

Mother nature about to unload on my area. Darkest I've seen in quiet a while.

Impressive clouds to my south for storms down by the Amboys. Sun starting to shine on them.

Line was so impressive looking then it sped up and all the good stuff was to my south. We've gotten about an inch today.

Finally getting in on some action in se Bergen. Was either west, NW or sw if me. Coming down at a good clip.

Western Bergen and now rockland getting hammered. Getting warnings for my town but not a drop has fallen.

Western nj is just dark! Incredible how dark it looks from where I live.

This line is stalled right over Bergen but to my west. Western Bergen/eastern Passaic getting killed

Radar is filling in with nice storms out west. Got a nice one building to my east, not showing up on radar yet. Looks to be over western li or maybe southern Westchester.

That cell on the pa/nj border over rt 80 looks vicious!

Just hit the 1" rainfall mark. It had turned pitch black at one point. Haven't had that happen in a veryyyyy long time by me.

Moderate rain now but the visual show of awesome lightning has not let up.

Mother nature is sure as hell angry! Just non-stop thunder, c2g lightning, multiple strikes near house and no rain yet. Quiet impressive ladt 7 minutes.

Thunder is non-stop and increasing in loudness. The temperature and humidity drop is absolutely insane right now. Feels 25 degrees cooler.

Things getting spicy on radar. Temps dropped to 89, cool outflow from this storm felt at valley hospital.

94 degrees in little ferry already. Very strong breeze from my south/sse. Has pushed in a lot of grey skies. Temp actually just dropped 3 degrees on AccuWeather while typing.

I'm really hating this summer and its heat&humidity. These "heat advisories" just keep getting extended by a day every day.

87 and humid. Strong breeze from sse cools things off. Had to walk sister-in-laws dog in hoboken. That breeze off the water feels incredible.
