    Felt here in little ferry. House was making very bad noises! Cats are still freaked out.

    Lightning strike by me a few moments ago. Winds are intense.

    Had maybe 1.5" in little ferry, nj before rain and sleet mixed in. Rained for a bit this morning tte more sleet before going back to snow. Been on and off flurries since mid afternoon.

    I live a few towns over and it flooded down the block and is flooding right now with tte high tides on the hackensack river.

    Any rainfall totals posted yet for our area? And speaking if flowers, I do have violias blooming.

    New milford, nj has this issue near the hackensack and reservoir. Only a few people took buyout, those houses knocked down. Others raised their houses but most stayed and still flood.

    Winds have died down quiet a bit in se Bergen County. Bergen bubble pushed it away lol

    Oradell reservoir one hour away from spilling over. Still lots of rain to come too.

    Starting to remind me of Ida outside with the wind driven rains, constant flashes of transformers lighting up the skies and non-stop fire truck sirens.

    Wind is driving tte rain in the cracks of my old bricks and morter and basement windows. Hoping it flows to the sump pump.

    Had more accumulating snow at 11am then sll of last night and yesterday afternoon. Rained from dinner time till almost midnight.

    Figures the first potential for accumulating snow is 2 days after my shoulder surgery and I can't go out to clear it or have fun in it. :/

    Damming isn't a solution. Someone will end up getting flooded way worse. The problem is over developement and paving over every inch of permiable ground. These rivers rose and flooded long before we lived here and will do so after we're gone. Is it worse now, no doubt. But there's no stopping mother nature.

    Crazy flooding all along the hackensack in Bergen County today.

    Crazy flooding occurring on the Saddle River in Lodi. Up to 7 different water rescues so far.

    Crazy winds and rains overnight and into this morning. Lots of flooding in my area. Only one water rescue....so far. Sun has made an appearance.

    Absolutely insane out by me. Power surges, heavy rains. Garbage cans are probably long gone.

    Was getting coffee around 11am and was already experiencing flooding from the hackensack river. Once storm actually gets going over our area, could be really bad.

    Had snow showers in Bergen County earlier. Blue skies finally gave way to clouds.

    I love the cold. Colder the better and im in shorts year round except if i have to shovel snow or if i have to walk in anything deeper than ankle depth. If it snows when its frigid is a plus. But winter should always be cold regardless of precip.

    Gorgeous last two days off from work. Had first snow showers yesterday and they didn't disappoint. Currently 24 in Paramus, NJ.
