Storms firing off to my North and southwest. Fingers crossed we get something. I really don't want to water my gardens tonight.

1" of rain in total. Good soaking rain. Temps feel great out. First time in we'll over a week the electric fans on my truck aren't on full blast.

One of the best storms in a very long time! Something was struck to my side in our deadend. Crazy amounts of lightning strikes in my area. Radar with lightning has gotta be insane.

Got nixle town warning for severe thunderstorm warning from my pd. Nothing even close on radar.

NWS Upton issued severe thunderstorm watch for my area til 8pm. Some storms firing off over NEPA moving ene.

Absolutely disgusting out. Had a brief rain shower that just made it extremely sticky.

Temp hit 99 in the last hour, crazy it went up 4 degrees.

95 with a strong southerly breeze again. Breeze makes it somewhat tolerable.

NWS Upton issued severe thunderstorm watch till 2200.

Some showers but radar died out as it got closer to me in north bergen.

Nothing since 830am yesterday. Radar just keeps drying up as it moves north.

These days feel heat by me in se Bergen. Winds flow up hackensack river. Was gorgeous on my evening walk around lake with the winds.

Not a drop of rain overnight. All fizzled as it reached my area. And it's just as hot as yesterday too. Zero relief.

While out walking around the lake by my house there was a strong wind out of the south. Made things very comfortable.

Storms to my southwest. Can feel cool breezes from it. Temps down a few degrees.
