  1. @The 4 Seasons 1.0” total from two squalls.
  2. And it’s over. A Memorable quickie though. Wife is happy.
  3. From a snow stealing standpoint...yes.
  4. Lower heights in AK ftl but it’s projected to be temporary. Hopefully. ?
  5. SWC continues to favor the post xmas to nye timeframe for something big.
  6. Pretty decent look for a bowling ball to traverse before NYE. Split flow, -nao, 50/50. Quiet until then though unless something surprises.
  7. Well it was a brutal melt by the models. Like, unanimous failure here so the ‘meh’ approach won this time.
  8. There is a light glaze and grass is half covered. Great success.
  9. gfs a tick cooler at the sfc. Icy situation locked.
  10. Oh yea it’ll be at the tail end but I still don’t think it happens when the sfc tucks in below LI and that early. Usually in swfe the primary goes into Buf and the sfc low tucks late over Jimmy’s head. I usually warm into the mid 30s then...but this looks different.
  11. I’m always pro ‘stick to your forecast’ but there are times where one should and needs to adjust. Not sure this is one of them though.
  12. I have a hard time buying hrrr’s sfc temps. I’ll go down with the ship if we hit 34/35.
  13. It’s a razor thin setup when a 2-3hr thump based on a surge/pulse from the sw is the difference between 1-2” and like 4-6”. Can still go either way really but leaning towards the low end of my 2-4”.
  14. A pink hippy jack dot for the hipster himself.
  15. Brutally unstable. Then again, most models have been with this...for some reason.
  16. The lowest taxes in the area is Oxford. Southbury has great schools (it’s why we chose it) and taxes a little better than Newtown. Snow prospects kind of the same except for the sneaky elevated areas in the area. There’s a topography map out there that will help with that. Agree with DIT, no reason to knee jerk off a set of less emphatic runs unless 0z continues the theme.
