Fair enough. This stretch has been relatively sunny and dry though so I have no issues with the humidity. Some mornings have been wasted but nothing like Jul-Aug 2018. I played golf yesterday from 1-5 in it, carried my bag too. This pales in comparison to that monsoon summer.

Dews do increase the likelihood of shitty mornings...I don’t think that’s an outlandish statement.

Amazing how when the dews drop, the sun magically appears in the mornings.

The only negative is the deeper we get into fall...the more balls I lose in plain sight.

That was an epic meltdown and then he gets two back on 17 and 18, I think, to get to +4. A 9 on 15 would of been enough. I wouldn’t bet against him next week at the 3M, in a weaker field, if he plays. I’m not a fan of his but I like to see how he’ll respond.

Yup. Bascially any warm season weather where you can be outside doing something. I’ll even take 85/70 if it’s sunny but dews usually accompany shitty mornings (just like today) and then higher chances of rain or storms in the PM (just like today). Not many enjoy the greyness it brings.

It was the worst summer of my lifetime. Simply because of the misery mornings filled with clouds, fog, and drizzle followed by like two hours of lunchtime sun before the afternoon/evening rains. For two months it was practically monsoon season. Every day I left work, it poured. Not severe storms either just training type tropical rains. You litterly couldn’t do anything outside after work all week. The weekends were washouts too. You’d have to get things done around lunctime in that small window of some sunny dews. Ya know, like chopping down all the tropical weeds, vegetation, and spraying and chizzling away at mold growing around the house. I had a 8ft weed next to my mailbox where I had to use a chainsaw to cut down. It was a disgustingly depressing summer. Never again.

Yea. That’s why you also usually see no-names put up low scores on day 1 in big events, then fade. Tough to have your A game 4 days in a row but if you can trend upward by being patient and feeling the course early instead of attacking aggressively...because you can’t win tournies early but you can lose them. I’m perplexed how caught off guard some big names where with the course. Maybe they didn’t respect how much tougher it would play compared to last week so they weren’t as precise. The wind was a factor, sure, but big names shooting 80?! Dunno...interesting round tomorrow though to see who can bounce back.

Not sure if anyone is watching but Muirfield beat up the best players today. Crazy how they can make the course that much more difficult in one week. Cut line will probably be + 2 or +3. Very US Open-ish.
