  1. This one has legs because we are not reliant on Judah’s phantom Strat Warming that takes 4 months to have a downstream effect.
  2. The other important takeaway is that we are seeing signs from multiple guidance for a blocky pattern developing. Good news for you and I who live in the mid atlantic.
  3. I didn’t think he had a job. Does he work at a library then?
  4. Hopefully it can reload. Nobody wants to wait for another backend winter.
  5. I don’t want to steal yours, no theft. I kid. This forum would bleed if tracks run over EMA and thus unbearable to read.
  6. Why so bitter? You had a historic yet unsustainable run...time to pass the torch to your left and enjoy the slop.
  7. Two weeks would make a difference there.
  8. Yup. Active south jet...good news for Dec.
  9. When you’re chasing bad guys do you have the gfs rolling in the background on your laptop? Like...pull some dude over for speeding but it takes you 30min to create the ticket because you’re really clicking the next frames on tropical tidbits.
  10. It’s just good to see coastals this close to met winter. Southern Jet is in play after a bone dry late summer early fall stretch.
  11. I’ve killed 3 deer by car the past two years commuting to and from work. I’m not a hunter but I kinda feel like one behind the wheel.
  12. Wizzy: Drives in the left lane not going a single mph over the speed limit and doesn’t care about holding up traffic, eats one McDonald’s burger as his only meal for the day, spiders give him Freddy Krueger like nightmares so he sleeps with a night lamp like a toddler, carries chapstick and hair gel in a male fanny pack, whips out his little weenie over soundings in Des Moines, and can’t stomach temps below 60F because it makes his tiny fragile core shivver. I feel bad for the woman who wins that prize of a man...if it ever happens.
  13. Too bad we can’t keep this cold around for the d5 threat the euro has. Looks to move out just in time...the 80s continue.
  14. The feeling of snow sticking to cold metal is akin to having sex, but as a married man with young kids...that doesn’t happen often for him. So this is the next best feeling, light up a stogie scooter and celebrate.
  15. Given early season trends, we in a good spot to get something wintry.
  16. Biggest snows in Nov and Mar with many rainers DJF, that is a rat imo. I couldn’t care less that we fell around normal snow climo when I saw rain drops with practically every system during the heart of the season. The cold always came after the systems passed. Definition of an 80s winter.
  17. It does but people sue any chance they get these days.
  18. I’m disturbed by those well, almost like it doesn’t count.
  19. Last winter was normal snowfall here but it sucked, so it was a ratter imo. So I can consider a season ‘great’ but still relatively close to normal snow wise. I don’t always necessarily equate the two as being contingent upon each other. I want BN temps, constant tracking from Dec-Feb, snow falling or otg around the holidays, etc. If we have mostly nickel and dime events making it feel like winter for the majority of the season, I can consider that to ‘great...even if the total snow measurement doesn’t add up to indicate that it was.
