  1. True. When lifestyles and the socio economic structure changes, some sectors will always suffer. But people will continue to spend money. So , adjust to the changing times. Do a mobile hot dog stand, become a delivery only lunch spot, maybe move your expensive urban brick and mortar to a more neutral location being able to attract the city and surburb client, etc. There are ways to counter it by being innovative.
  2. Lol. Those people aren’t productive in the office either. Get rid of them.
  3. But yea...it should be flexible where not everyone needs to do it the same way. If someone wants to be in the office 5 days, fine.
  4. Ideally, I’d prefer 3 days wfh 2 days office. Agree.
  5. Barely anyone with young kids do. https://www.netigate.net/articles/human-resources/working-from-home-survey-results-on-the-new-normal/ https://www.pwc.com/us/en/library/covid-19/us-remote-work-survey.html
  6. Yea that’s wierd. I get up at the same time but eat a healthier bfast, hit the gym, maybe hit the grocery store...get some to do‘s done before work I otherwise would barely have time for after.
  7. Have a family and we’ll revisit this post.
  8. Exactly. And yes, we are a micro managed workforce. Great leaders don’t need to watch their teams though, They’re too busy working and leading (setting examples). Managers who’s main initiative is to oversee others is a wasted expense. My wife’s manager, for example, doesn’t actually work. She just head counts and delegates. $150k not that well spent.
  9. It does. It’s a win from every angle.
  10. 2hrs/day for me and 3hrs for my wife. Between the two us we’ve gained 25hrs of ‘life’ every week. More family time and even more work. It’s definitely a game changer.
  11. Big corps have programmed the American workforce to practically drop dead on the job or someone else will. It has trickled down to small bizz over the years. Work life balance barely existed pre covid and while it is changing, too many corps are slow to give up oversight. If an employee’s production dropped WFH is not because they are WFH, it’s because they weren’t productive in the first place but you can never quantify their office productivity if they look like they are working. There was a girl at my previous job who spent more than half her day away from her desk chatting but hey, she was in the office. Productive/honest/loyal employees will excel anywhere but if you give them more work life balance WFH and they will crush it. I find myself working more WFH actually. Kids pass out and I jump on for an hour. If I’m in the office I’m out at 430 to pick up the kids by 6. WFH, I’m on until about 515/530 because I don’t have the agonizing 1hr drive home to get them. I’m less stressed, more motviated, and generally happier WFH. All of our friends say the same. Companies are foolish if they aren’t adapting, the best talent will go elsewhere.
  12. Yea I have a couple lineups in the milly maker. 10 Dollar and a dream...
  13. Yes he is. I liked when he gave Koepka the truth last year before the final round at the PGA Championship. You don’t need to put other players down and call them out...this isn’t football.
  14. I’m a big Tony guy. Always a top 10 in big events but he just can’t buy one. Unfortunately he’s been playing poorly lately missing the last two cuts which is very rare.
  15. I’m fading Speith because of the hype, he is way overpriced, but from a pure playing standpoint...he has as good of a shot as any of the big dogs given his recent form and past success here. I’m just not a fan of his for some reason.
  16. It's still early but I usually get a decent feel for a big event early in the week before too much information infiltrates the mind. So here goes: Betting market (100 units total): Rahm +1250 (10 units) Rory +1900 (10 units) Cantlay +2050 (20 units) Simpson +3500 (20 units) Day +5500 (20 units) Conners +8000 (20 units) If you have an extra 5-10 units that you found under your pillow and want to throw a dart at a longshot...I like Fritelli at +17500 and Si Woo Kim at +15000. DFS lineup: JT, Cantlay, Berger, Day, Kokrak, Munoz Does anyone else bet and/or play dfs?
  17. Yea. We just lucked out with the system over NS right now instead of over our heads so we can sneak in some nice days before it gets troughy D7+.
  18. Enjoy these nice days because the LR looks pretty beat.
  19. I usually just go with Arnold Palmers with an added splash of vodka. Or just stick with my High Noons.
  20. Of course one can go with any of the big dogs but I will go with someone in the tier below in Cantlay. He’s been on a great run especially from T2G. I like him alot in this spot and I’ll be heavy on him in my dfs lineups. A bit of a darkhorse but has been on another good stretch so he is gaining traction is Conners. He typically plays well at Augusta so he has the experience to back his recent play.
  21. Nope. As long as the heavier rain stays away down there Fri/Sat. Who’s your pick?
