  1. You’re a trooper, GL. Tell us how it went in the golf thread.
  2. Doubt it and the course wil be soaked anyway.
  3. I’m lucky. I found a great company earlier this year that puts people first over profit so loyalty here is valued and rewarded. When you’re private/family owned and your pushing 1billion in yearly sales, you’ve done something right. But I know in today’s profit driven climate we are the exception not the rule, unfortunately.
  4. That is pretty brutal bro. It doesn’t seem like a company that you should be invested beyond punching in and out, and collecting the paycheck. So The second you see something better, split.
  5. Yea. Besides it being salty and sugary, I just don’t like the taste that much. I typically use honey mustard as my dipping sauce or spreader instead. It’s not like I don’t eat salty or sugary foods though because if that’s the case I would be like 25lbs lighter lol. So I love my sweets. I have better tasting alternatives to ketchup, and they just turn out to be healtheir, typically. Nothing like a good sweet pulled pork though, nice. Add some sweet pickles on the side too, yes.
  6. Yea. Definitely need salt on corn on the cob...and a good dosing of butter.
  7. It’s probably a good idea to not use 10:1 clowns in Hatepril...outside of the high terrain at least.
  8. If euro tickles more favorable in two hours then we have a pretty good idea what will happen up there.
  9. My wife’s grandmother, who passed away a few years ago, used to always salt her food heavily before even tasting it. And it didn’t matter what was on her plate, just poured salt everywhere. Before the food came out, home or at a restaurant, we used to always make sure the salt shaker was already within her reach. Like clockwork she would still ask, “can someone pass the salt please?”.....our response, “grommie, the salt is right in front of you like it always is.”
  10. But Boring weather in the spring is what we want. 60s and sunny, over and over again.
  11. Nam is tossed but you could sneak in a few. GL.
  12. Congratulations on accumulating snows.
  13. Euro was very wet too, 2-3”. Anyone thinking of laying down lawn apps should probably wait as you’ll possibly get too much runoff.
  14. Yea as we age we plateau quicker but weight isn’t everything. Body composition is more important. So while you might feel like you aren’t getting anywhere with weight loss, as long as your exercising that’s the key. Shit, I can’t give up Nutella so I’ll never be rail thin with no muscle mass like a jogger who gets up at 5am everyday to jog 6miles. Muscle and some fat for me is better body comp. Why give up the joys in life just to look like a Kenyan marathon runner anyway?
  15. I enjoy fasting. Sometimes I do a full 24hrs other times I try to stretch it to 48hrs but with a minor meal or two of fruits and veggies. It clears my mind and gets me light on my feet. I do on occasion, however, end up binge eating when I break my fast but that tends to happen when I pop a gummie as I’m breaking. I love to eat in general so with fasting and strength training 4-5 days/wk, I can eat crap sometimes and not gain weight nor feel bad about it. I’m not the most health conscious dude where I eat salads for lunch but my style works for me.
  16. I usually fast a few times a month anyway so I can go a full day or two without eating really, if that helps the process be smoother. I don’t have to get one yet but it is definitely a screening I need to do within the next couple years.
