What a pro. It looked liked after a miserable start this was going to be an ugly round but he stops the bleeding then back to back birdies on 13 and 14 gets him back to -6.

Pin placement on the par 3 6th is lol. Rose just had a 60ft attempt for birdie and it didn’t make the ridge so it rolled right back to him. 3putt bogey. If you don’t hit the back right quadrant, you’ll be lucky to make par.

Weisberger and Leishman are crushing it early. Looks like the conditions are favorable for some low rounds today, at least for the morning groups.

I fully expect Rose to drop back today. Yesterday’s round (back 9) was an all timer. I’m thinking a +2/+3 round is in play.

The blocking this winter into spring has been without any cold air really so if it’s not clouds and rain, it’s warm. But the Euro sends down a cold shot once the block dissipates...we’ll see.

US Open is a different kind of struggle with deep rough while this more of a shot placement difficulty. You miss in the wrong spot and it’s an easy bogey. Love it.

Zalatoris is a stud. I faded him because well, this is his first Masters....so he goes out and posts a 70. He may not win it but He’s not going anywhere next 3 days. Top 10, book it.

Do what you have to do for now but keep grinding at what you really want to do. The uphill battle sucks but Eventually it will be break your way...but you don’t want to look back decades from now wondering what could have been. The most important aspect of any career is loving what you do, that’s it. If you are passionate about your profession, everything else will fall into place.
