  1. Hmmm something like Philly set a record with measurable rain for 12 days then broke that record the same month lol, in any case it was cool cloudy and awful.
  2. The data pins the coming May analog to 2005 - The single worst spring month i ever experienced outside this...April. Fantastic!
  3. I would have been pissed, good it's not winter a 6-10" forecast would have netted 3"
  4. Lucky us a new rule has been added to the weenie handbook. Way down the list now we have rule entry 57 - Mildest near snowless winter ever will give way to the dreariest cold spring imaginable.
  5. Don't take me serious I have lost my corona coconut
  6. May this string of fantastic days never end, April truly blessed
  7. Yeah the snow moved in far earlier than pedict....oh right
  8. But you can't get enough of tomorrow/Monday's, yesterday's weather
  9. Can anybody remember the last time we had a 10" snowstorm with a good track south of us followed by a little more than 24 hour break before a another one. This would have been that.
  10. Makes one think about the gods sitting around their chess board likein Jason and the Argonauts "Next let's move the dark cloud here and give them winter in mid spring, let's see how many want to leap off bridges" as Aphrodite quips" that's cruel"
  11. Tonight is a greater chance for a freeze. Winds should calm at sunset temps will drop quick, below 32F dependent on timing of the cloud deck coming.
  12. Below normal with frequent showers the next two weeks, no letup in the pattern in sight. Mid March through mid May may be the longest below normal streak in the area since 2015. We got the great winter pattern two months late. We can hope for mercy by the second week of May i guess.
  13. Brief downpour and wind gust, one distant thunder. April of azz. Although power is a good thing.
  14. Several GFS ensemble members with snow on April 28th
  15. Temps dropped for the second half of the week and a procession of rain storms. -EPO/NAO is playing havoc with optimistic forecasts for mild.
  16. The GFS nailed the April winter pattern back in mid March It was nice today through 2:30, last hour overcast windy and feels like late October
  17. Don S reasoning says there will be hell to pay from May through this summer
  18. The Monday storm which was expected to miss keeps jumping north. Result is a stronger cold shot arriving Tuesday. The warm up is all but cancelled Mon-Wed. Wed looks windy like today and I bet struggles to hit 50F. Guidance is close to useless at 5 days out now.
  19. 46F still overcast and very windy, wind chill must be 30F. So much for morning clouds and afternoon sun.
