  1. Allentown snow December 1976 16 T 17 T 20 T 21 T 23 T 25 1.4" 26 2.2" 27 .5" 28 1.5" 29 T New Years day T The amounts are light but what a time with snow in the air for the holidays Mildest day after the 20th was 38F on the 23rd January that followed was 11.5F below normal
  2. Family member drove off an almost family member in a bitter dispute, a Christmas classic of yore
  3. Thing about that data is my old location was awful for measuring snow. It was a fish bowl circled by tall ash, tree of heaven and pine. Any storm with wind resulted in trees eating the snow. I measured 27-28" in a nearby field after the storm, which I'm sure if done with a snowboard would have been 30". Felt cheated saying I received 25".
  4. Monday afternoon is projecting to be a clone of this mornings spare change event, exciting times.. * although the timing would be such that the frosted snow scape would be ideally timed with the holiday lights rather then the useless over night garbage nobody can see sleeping. It's all about the silver linings eh.
  5. Would be one hell of a kick in the behind if this winter was a dead ratter and be looking back at the records to see it snowed on Christmas Eve
  6. Missed that squall line that dumped .5-1" all the way to NYC by only 6 miles almost had a Clark Griswold rant at 3am but too tired
  7. All a sudden as the back edge is moving through it's dumping! Serious dippin dots too like road getting covered in 5 minutes
  8. Fastest back edge ever was that a clipper lol
  9. 32F with sporadic flakes, ran out of gas fast and the ECM predictably dried up. Ho ho no
  10. Wakey wakey it's snow and flakey Snow falling here the grainy type
  11. Staying up all night to watch the radar feeling stoked will need more liquor
  12. Save the airing of grievances for tomorrow night aside the aluminum Festivus pole Ralphie
  13. ECM with a Festivus miracle! Dusting to .75" tomorrow morning * with loli's of 1 to 1.25" haha
  14. There are few 1-4" fast moving clippers or fronts dropping 1.5" the last decade. When there are clippers they slow down and redevelop into Miller B's. * Likely climate change with the more active southern jet injecting into the clippers creating the bigger Miller B's I would guess is the reason because I slept in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
  15. But you had a couple 7's an 8.75 and a 4.5" last winter lol
  16. ICON/NAM/GFS hint at some errant flakes in the air at dawn Christmas Eve morning say 20% chance increasing to 30% in the hills and northern reaches of the region. The chance to say it snowed on Christmas Eve day might be among the winters biggest moments might want to be up for it.
  17. Sleep soundly you have six hours until a different solution
  18. and for the record I was in fact drinking eggnog spiked with bottom shelf Admiral Nelson's as I fixed the literary travesty
