  1. Neighbor down the road is measuring .93, perfect. Hopefully a bit more tomorrow and should be good for fall lawn, as long as we don't go full on stein.
  2. this second line has fantastic rain rates without the wind, and some pretty good thunder....impressed....my plants and lawn needed this
  3. Here comes the wind, was waiting, it was dead calm.
  4. It is all I want, rain.....Sorry Kev, could do without damage...
  5. I went to college in Milwaukee and my son is out there now, he said it is insane with what they have gotten the last day. Milwaukee is a very under-rated city, nice place.
  6. Beautiful night here in Walpole as I sit outside, temp of 68 and DP of 60 at my neighbor's Davis. I work in Boston, right at Post Office Square and have no dog in the ongoing battle, I enjoy the back and forth. When I finally took a walk around the square at 1:30 today there was a beautiful breeze, very comfortable temps, and while there was some smoky haze, I expected it to be worse based on what I read on twitter before I went out. Just my opinion, but an all around great day.
  7. Yes, they are a nice family. My son went to school with one of their children.
  8. Damage in Walpole last night when they rolled in...massive boom around 10:30 woke me from my sleep, when went to work this morning around 6 I saw that my neighbor's pine got hit, sawed tree in half and splintered fragments into our yard....and then about 2 miles away from us, a horse barn was hit and burned, 8 horses dead, 10 survived
  9. Like many of us, I love snow, but days like today, sitting on the patio, drinking a beer, taking a swim, and looking at the perennials in bloom all over the yard, are certainly difficult to beat.
  10. Beautiful out there....ground covered, snow falling nicely....that's a victory in this winter.
  11. I think he was going to get fired regardless of today's outcome, they can't bring him back. But they should have played Brissett, not Milton.
  12. Working from home today and it is snowing quite nicely, grassy surfaces covered....nice win, will take anything I can get
  13. After these last 2 years, I will be happy to just have cold weather
  14. I started mine today too, fired right up. Used it once last year, though I could have shoveled it.
  15. Just read latest BOX AFD...they write, best chance for storms is "South and East of Pike"..... I guess East can be correct, there is an East, but never saw that one before.....that should have been caught
  16. Here in Walpole, just south of Norwood (home of Brian Albert) saw flash and crack directly overhead....not much of a storm at all, but that was pretty cool. Onto round 2?
