  1. I have co workers out in that area. Both of them told me it’s the most humid air they have ever felt in the region
  2. A cool 88/70/95 here. Tomorrow will be my scorcher. Upper 90s with dews flirting with 80. Go big or go home let’s bring on the high dews!
  3. I just reported my second infestation today in the old milo area of Columbus.
  4. I seen that. Wish I was in the thumb would have loved those boomers especially if they were at night
  5. Something about storms in the UP is magical. Would love to be on Isle Royale when some come through. I’ll be heading up to the UP end of September. Hopefully a strong low comes through and I can see Superior pissed off. Hopefully no snow showers lol. Still have to visit the porcupine mtns
  6. I caught my first glimpse of a spotted lantern fly in east Columbus. Noticed honeydew left over on some riverbank grapes. Flew up onto a Ailanthus tree so I could not kill it. Only seen one. Has anyone else in the Great Lakes area spotted these assholes at all? Hearing reports around the Toledo area
  7. Still got potential for multiple rounds of storms. Down here I’ll get your table scraps unless a overperformer comes around. The cap is an issue
  8. Good lord that’s a good start to hit the century mark. Hoping cloud debris clears for our shot here in Columbus area tomorrow. As Harry noted above going to be interesting feeling the dews creep up 10-15 degrees here in a few hours
  9. Ohh look at that potential beefcake right there @frostfern would take that for sure!
  10. I’m not complaining at all. Got two days this week of lower humidity and temps that was not forecast 2 days ago. Excessive heat watch for Thursday though
  11. 81/74/88 right now with zero wind. Definitely going to be a toaster today
  12. Bring it on down SE to Columbus I’ll take one on the chin
  13. Some tor signatures popping up hopefully stay radar indicated.
  14. Gave me an idea for a fun concept. What if the moisture and low associated with Hillary was able to produce a derecho along the ridge if thats even possible
  15. I was noticing that too. Things are definitely starting to go downhill. The training on that band tho. Hoping for a better outcome but we are going to see incredible videos
  16. Hella rain band about to move into the Salton Sea area
  17. Think the wildfire smoke being associated with less UV rays getting through could have an effect on colors?
  18. Damn I’ll probably miss the peak. I’ll be heading to the newberry area end of next month
  19. Your are right I took a better look at the models. Crazy this is happening but expect the unexpected especially with the changing climate. Also the triple dip La Niña to a hard El Niño coming into play. Fascinating nonetheless
  20. Wonder if this storm will fall apart like Hurricane Lance did when it was approaching Hawaii a few years back
  21. Hot damn this is insane. I’m quite hyped about this storm like I was with Patricia several years ago. Cloud field is definitely massive. Wonder if it will be able to overcome the dry air to an extent
