How’d they do with the joints? Snoop level now?
Haha great, still learning how to properly inhale but we’ll get there. In all seriousness, my wife did a great job putting together a cops and pops (lollipop) theme for the two of them. Some sort of deal where our little girl was the robber and stole all the lollipops and our son was the cop trying to catch her. You know, the kind of thing wives thrive at and love to do. She really hit it out of the park though by contacting the West Hempfield Police and getting them to stop by the party. As you can imagine, the kids loved it haha. They all got to sit in the car and flick the lights and hear the sirens and whatnot. It was a big hit. Got to hand it to my lady, she nailed it.

I need it to not rain Saturday. We are celebrating our 20th anniversary and a throwing a large formal dinner party and renting out Greystone and rain would suck.
Congrats! I’m with ya. We are headed up to the Poconos with the kids. Have a close eye on this weekend’s weather, which seems a bit up in the air at this point as far as timing and such.

Low of 42. Did tons of mulching and other landscaping yesterday and let's just say my back is feeling it.
-
Low of 45 with .42” of precip over here. Gonna brave the wind today and refill and seed a bunch of holes that the dogs have dug.

Really close to me. My sister lives in Caledonia area and has been really nervous. The fire has been pushing north and west but the winds are supposed to switch the west and northwest which would push the fire the other way toward her.
Best of luck out that way. Hopefully all this moisture helps to ease things. Still some more rain to come.

Two-thirds of the way through and MDT is still hanging onto BN April, barely. That will change this week though.

I was (and still am) mostly down for the count right now. Went to the ER over the weekend, I hadn't been feeling so good and as it turns out...I have Pneumonia.
Oh man, really sorry to hear that pal. Hang in there and get yourself some much-needed rest.

Low of 51. We snuck in the ol' midnight high yesterday. Man, what a perfect Easter day it was, can't draw it up any better. We were outside playing yard games the whole day and having egg hunts, and it was just perfect. Hope everyone got to enjoy it.

It felt glorious today. We had our neighborhood yard sale and weather couldn’t have been better. Cloud cover and breeze for the win. Also, I think I might be coming around on gin. Have hated it my whole life but my wife has me reconsidering with some nice gin drinks. Off to mow!

Only got down to 35 in Maytown. Beautiful morning out there!
Is it fair to say that when we get even a slight inversion you tend to miss out on those due to being on a wee bit of a plateau?

52 mph winds here now. I bet @Mount Joy Snowman is fighting to walk to the train.
We also got zero measurable precip.
2 minutes ago, canderson said:Another little weak light rain shower is mixing down 45+ winds. The overhead instability is pretty wild.
Indeed, although at least the afternoon walk to the train station was more of a tail wind. Lapse rates were intense today. Don’t have to go up very high to reach those frigid temps.

I couldn’t believe how windy it was walking around Harrisburg during lunch. Ripping off the river.
