.05” rain today. Maybe the Blue Angels flying overhead all afternoon kept the rain at bay here.

That’s actually solid, enough to keep things damp. Only .01” here from a couple one minute popcorn showers. Loved the mix of sun and clouds though.

I remember back in the late 80s .Harrisburg recorded rain 22 days in May. That was also the time  that spring  that I fertilized my lawn and my mower blew a head gasket. So I was sol on mowing when it wasn't raining. By the time I got the mower fixed I was making hay, the grass was so tall and thick.

My own personal record for days in a month recording measurable precip is 21, done twice, in May of 2019 and March 2020.  My fewest is 3 in November of 2023.

Rain not withstanding, I just perused the models, and surface temps on Wednesday, per the Euro and the GFS, keep me in the upper 40's for a high temperature. Absurd...

FYI, min max records for MDT for Wed/Thu are 48/54, with both being set in the late 1800s.

What caught me off guard today is the humidity...despite the dark clouds and rainfall, it's sticky!

How ‘bout it. Dews look to stay stuck in the 60s all week and perhaps even pop to near 70 briefly on Friday. Hopefully some relief on the way by late in the day on Saturday, before setting up for a beautiful Sunday.
