    I’d say about 2” here. Seems most of the obs around the county are 1.5” to 3”, so not terrible given a forecast of 2-4.

    Coming down good here. All snow so far. Ground is covered and even a little on the road.

    That is some heavy precip upstream. Maybe the rates will cool the column.

    Yeah, they now seem to be saying we mix with rain in Allegheny county. Oh well. We tried. Hell, the point and click even up towards Butler includes rain this afternoon.

    Would assume precip is going to be hindered by dry air at first. Dewpoint still in the teens at PIT.

    Well we got the advisory. Let’s see how it goes. NWS said this, but I’m not sure I can remember a time that the models have “overdone the warm nose”. Still, think some of the warmer guidance is overdoing the warm nose, especially north of the Mason-Dixon.

    If there’s no advisory and I get 1.5”, I certainly enjoy it less than if I get 4” under a warning, advisory, or neither, yes.

    My in laws live in Warren and staying with them isn’t worth seeing snow (not with this storm obviously but in general).

    Probably. Honestly one decent snowstorm would make all the difference at this point. Doesn’t even have to be March 1993. It could be a solid 3-5” event.

    To be fair, the NAM solution is pretty damn stupid. It brings a bunch of freezing rain in (.3”) which won’t happen.

    I sure am glad those beltway elites aren’t stealing our snow, yes. That would be the real kick in the teeth.
