  1. I think the 850s will hold for 6 plus hours for the cities. It should be fun too cause it comes in hot and heavy.
  2. CWG up their totals to 4-8 with 2-4 in the bust range. 5-10 over NW burbs.
  3. What is the max potential out there for snow? I was looking at the records for Odessa and it seems like 8-10 inches for a storm would be max.. what about Dallas and Houston?
  4. Well I was in the mid 20s with Rain on the last storm.. so I am beginning to think that what matters most is whats going on up there
  5. At the height of the storm I am in the mid 20s. I dont like the timing but hopefully it is cold and heavy enough to overcome any late winter sun angle issues
  6. 48 hours out.. how could this possibly fail.. with that run I think we are safe
  7. yessir.. I hold on to snow at 54 too.. thats 18 hours snow..
  8. Damn 12z to 18z shows 8 inches of snow in a six hour period for the thumpiest of regions
  9. Comparing the NAM to the GFS.. the nam has a line of thunderstorms extending far north of the primary low pressure in the gulf states. I think it is picking up on a stronger low over the ohio valley: here:
  10. The next six hours is the sleet and freezing rain (valid 00z).. it shows 2 more inches of snow but its probably sleet.. the above shows the panels ending 12z and 18z which stay snow for everyone north of Baltimore... Its a heathy thump...
  11. I know that the GFS is not as good the euro wrt to the overall progression.. but it also gives us the most snow... All of this is the front end thump (before flipping):
  12. https://tughillrealestate.com/homes-for-sale-details/7434-CO-RT-17-BOYLSTON-NY-13083/S1314416/99/ I am working on my wife right now.. i think we are gonna buy it.
  13. I am just saying that the last several events have been inhibited by near freezing surface.. the COB output depicts these issues pretty well. I am sure hunt valley will be fine. I am in the City so I worry more about these things. I think that we are all going to be pleasantly surprised with this one.
  14. yeah exactly.. I think it might be okay as long as you can fend off surface temp issues.
  15. I just checked the Models.. nice to see that that trended in the right direction for the Baltimore area!
  16. I went sleigh riding down the steps of the Hilton on 32 street a few years ago! Maybe you will have better luck down there
