Well @Maestrobjwa You have not gotten 5 inches of snow in several years but you might get a tornado instead. -

Cool, went right over my house, at school right now so won't know what happened for a bit. Just saw the image, I looked at radarscope but it only lasted a frame so was hard to make out but it makes sense the NWS knows just a bit more than me. -

Was the warning needed? Couldn't really see anything from sterling radar, better safe than sorry I suppose. -

Imagine if the line came through around 3/4 hours later. Either way looks like it might be an interesting day out. -
I'm technically a CIT or coach in training, so I still am swimming on the team but I also get to coach an age group (9-10s) along with helping the coaches at meets.

Anyone going to the pool on Saturday? At this points its a tradition to go whatever the weather. Can't wait for my first day of coaching Tuesday.

2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season Tracking Thread
SnowenOutThere replied to WxWatcher007's topic in Mid Atlantic
Have you ever seen a model be as consistent as the gfs showing a storm in the gulf? It’s had one there since 330 hours out and has stayed locked in. It’s crazy. -
You gonna start the tropical thread soon because if you’re not I will.

Gfs keeps showing a tropical low in the gulf every run. No other model has it at all though. Still amazing to see the GFS’s consistency even this far out. -
For anyone reading it I recommend replacing the word rain with snow.

How many team members does your swim team have total?

I get to be a coach in training this year for my swim team. Crazy to think the first practice is less than a month away.
-
Its the same setup we would wish for in winter, instead of the low sprinting off the coast.
-
You are the one who moved north, and on a ridge.

We were close, parts of the region even had a decent year. The Enso was not really the problem as @psuhoffman pointed out, the pacific actually helped us for once we just could not get -NAO. If we had some Atlantic side help then we would most likely be singing the praises of last winter.
