  1. When you think about it, it’s the perfect ending.
  2. Which way y’all think the gfs is trending lol
  3. What do the GEFS, EC, EPS, GEM, GEPS, UKMET, NAM, NOGAPS, ICON, CRAS, ETA, MRF say?
  4. LOL, yeah with those temps certainly. We need a good rug pull to cap off this winter.
  5. Proper interpretation is a key skill around here.
  6. How’s our next snowstorm looking. Are the probability maps looking good?
  7. Grass planting and wee control are always best done in the fall. If the crab is bad a pre-emergent is the cure but it has a downside if you apply too much. It will prevent any grass seeds from germinating also. Fertilize now and all you will get out of it is more mowing. To grow your roots you fertilize during the winter. Light fertilizing in May helps over the summer imo but I never liked spring fertilizing
  8. @psuhoffman follow your own advice. Stop replying to these guys. It’s not worth your time.
  9. I thought the HECS was coming in the 15th? Delayed but not denied? LOL
  10. That winter was nowhere near as bad as this one.
  11. The euro has had several fantasy big snows this year around the day 8 time frame. Every one disappeared quickly.
  12. It happened in 11/12 right? Don’t remember it that way
  13. Remember: the only time the euro is wrong is ...
  14. Here in Winchester it’s usually around mid April. This year may be early though. Couple of years ago I didn’t mow until the first week of May
  15. LOL, i was thinking M is A F I for some reason
  16. Cutoff lows can be fun. The later we get the more elevation dependent they become. There was one in April of 1987 that dumped 30” inches on us down in swva. It literally snowed for 4 days.
  17. We will figure it all out once we’ve created 30-40 more 3 letter acronyms for weather.
  18. Who in the world came up with the name graupel? Probably the same people who decided that “unknown precip” was a good way to communicate weather conditions.
