clearly the only significant shift would mean going from a 1-3" storm to a 12-18" storm. I'm certain he realizes at this point his posts are no better than that osfan chick. I recall him mentioning that since he isn't getting what he wants he was stepping away....guess that's changed...of course i said i've lost interest in this winter and yet here I am. Snow is an incredible drug

Stuck in a meeting where my manager likes to hear himself talk. Pbp from me postponed until 18z i guess. The way this meeting is going, maybe not until 0z.
I hate when work gets in the way...the nerve! :-)

Congrats dude, happy for you. They’re a fun team to watch.
My daughter's teammate has an older sister who is a cheerleader for the Bengals. I was talking to her dad last night and he is over the moon! He said that they will be at the game, but the Cheerleaders will be is a special section away from the field. Really cool, and if they win the game, I think she gets a Super Bowl ring too.

We shall see. Just like in sports, the fun part is the game is played and we get to see what happens.
It would be great if this played out like the Bills/Chiefs game.....Bring the goods late. :-) I know that won't happen, but it's always good to wish.

If I'm ever in a war, pinned down in a foxhole with enemy troops advancing on me from every direction, I want Roger Smith in there with me. He'd take out his M16 and look out into the battlefield, seeing 20 tanks, 40 howitzers on all sides and 400 troops closing in and tell me, with a straight face...."dude, we are going to f*ck them up!"
This is how I picture Roger.......

I think a lot of the unwillingness to accept the outcome stems from not understanding how low pressure systems evolve. There isn't just a surface low like everyone looks at on TT. There are also mid and upper level lows. At our latitude in the winters, it's not common to have all 3 on top of each other like this. They are usually "slanted" with the surface first and upper last. When you get all 3 spinning together right over top of each other and no cold high feeding the beast,, you better be far NW from the center or you're in big wet trouble.
This all goes back to the "sandwich" dynamics which you explained last year. Hopefully some on the board can remember this for the future. :-)

Seriously. We have a handful of friends who live in the Lorton area, who have been without power ALL THIS WEEK. That's rough...and with colder temps incoming, they're getting concerned about keeping pipes warm, etc.
That is what happened to my team in Austin last February, but it was in the teens for at least 5 days. A ton of them had frozen pipes burst since those houses weren't built to a code with much insulation. It was a mess.

The euro drying up is the most predictable thing since the wizards losing
that last foul on Beal was marginal at best.

After one too many whiskeys, I woke up this morning so happy to discover that I didn’t drunk post. And then I checked my fantasy football team score to be sure I locked up 3rd place, and Boswell scored 17 points! Wth? I lost by three!
If I had seen that last night, I would have been dragged out of here by a bouncer!
I lost both of my Championship games, but 2nd place in 2 of 3 leagues is good for me. :-)
