I kind of forgot what the sun looked like.
And now I'll never know since I looked directly into it.
Co-worker in St. Louis told me that they had a dusting of snow overnight :-)

Tough group, but certainly nt the worst draw.
I agree. Wales is a very good side, so I expect they'll end up in our group. Kind of unfortunate to get them in the first match (if we do play them), as they'd definitely play Bale without worrying about him having played just a few days prior. Iran is no slouch, but they're nothing to fear. England is phenomenal, but they play a bit conservative under Southgate, and depending on the results of the first groups games, I don't know if we'll see them come out flying against us.
We have the talent to make it out of this group, for sure. If we're healthy going into the tournament, then I'm going to feel really good about getting into the knockout stages. At that point, we'll just have to see how the chips fall.
Turner
Dest - Zimmerman - Miles - Jedi
Musah - Adams - McKennie
Reyna - Ferreira - PulisicI figure if we have this starting lineup in a knockout match, we'll put up a good fight against pretty much anyone. Of course we can't know who will be in form and all that, and our #9 situation just sucks, but that's a boss of a midfield with two really high-class attackers and two wingbacks who can cause problems. I like it...
My first thought was that this pool might be the toughest with three solid teams. No Dout the US team is different this time through and should advance.

Last night I was watching the Ryan Hall livestream and he explained that since this system has so much shear, It didn't take much to kick off strong, severe storms. THere were a lot of tornado warned cells last night on the pre-front line of storms, and then more in the actual frontal passage. I think there was even one or two areas which had different tornado warned cells pass over about an hour apart.
I am definitely not a knowledgeable as many of you on this, but just wanted to pass that along.

Fantastic ass-kicking of Panama by the US last night. The only way we don't go to the World Cup is if we lose to Costa Rica by six goals or more on Wednesday...and even if we do (which we won't), we would still play a playoff against New Zealand for one final spot.
Even though the 2022 World Cup is probably one cycle too early for this crop of players, when this team is fully healthy it's going to be really fun to watch. The great thing is that these guys will be in their primes come the 2026 World Cup here in the US (and Mexico and Canada)!
Definitely was a good match. They were focused and delivered.

Oh, MAN, did you dredge up some memories! I had the later generation of this, the Odyssey2, when I was a teenager. It wasn't Atari or Intellivision, but it held its own!
But almost every weekend now, I treat myself to my favorite game ever -- SSX Tricky. My sons even bought me a beat-up, used PlayStation 2 and an old copy of SSX Tricky, so I can relive the "old" days (SSX came out in the early 2000s ). Of course, the physics in SSX are completely goofy and impossible, but damn, is it fun doing those uber-tricks.
Atari 2600 Pitfall was the bomb!

Thank you, my friend, and I wish you the very same!! While we've not formally "met," you're still the ONLY person I know in this area who shares the same cake day. Have a safe trip and enjoy your weekend away!
And LOL...yeah, I've lost count how many times I've turned 29...but I'm quite sure it's more times than both you AND @H2O.
Happy Birthday to both of you!

i bumped into Ryan Hall's livestream last night after 10:00. He has hooked up with most of the stormchasers and would communicate with them through the night. Seems pretty legit.....anyone else heard of him?
I don't think he is a hack, but would like to see what others think about him.

Love this dude. A true musicologist. Love how he can deconstruct/isolate, and analyze each component of a song. And what a song this was/is. A masterpiece by Boston.
He does a great job analyzing music from many different Genres as well.
Look at this channel as well....He breaks down songs from a sound engineer perspective, which is intersting--> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ0zCC_pb_p5rH2PqWlzBEw

I just watched the 2nd half of that championship game. I was glad to see Delaware win a hard fought game.
Sorry about Towson! Hopefully next year is the year for them.
My older son's best friend plays for Towson, so it was hard to see them lose after such a good run this year. On the other hand, my other son goes to Delaware, so I guess either way we were kind of happy.

I was supposed to get mine at 45 because my mother had colon cancer. I didn't and my Dr. now says that I have to get it at 52, which was 10 years before she had it........I think I need a new Dr.
